Susan and that other chap havent been PM.
Not only has Susan been PM and won, but Leon has also PMed in week 2 (he lost). So, there was nobody on the team who hadn't PMed before.

Also, as has been pointed out, Susan also offered to be PM; Zoe just forced herself through.

The only people who haven't been PM is Tom, Natasha and Jim - and they were all on the other team.

And she was a very good PM as well, so I don't really get the 'Susan is useless' thing on here really. I think she's one of the stronger candidates in terms of skills - she just needs to grow up a wee bit sometimes.

I totally agree!!

She was the best PM we had seen up to that point and to this show remains one of the best.

Zoe's behaviour is absolutely repulsive. She is a miserable bully and I would not want to deal with her professionally or personally.

Susan, on the other hand is very bright and enthusiastic. Yeah she is girlish. she is 21. I'd rather that than a sour-faced witch.

I am not a fan of Susan, she does talk rubbish. Remember the mobile app task and the beauty task. I think the other contestants think shes full of it so dont really give her the time of day. Even when she does talk sense.
Susan was certainly talking nonsense on the apps task, but I don't agree she was doing so on the cosmetics task. Her idea about how much they could sell was proved wrong, but she had reasons for her views and was able to express them. It was a mistake, but not really a stupid one IMO.

She was an average PM by all accounts, but in this series average gets you a long way. She is one of the few candidates in the whole process with good peoples skills (along with Melody, whom from You´re Fired clips was very chummy with Ellie and Felicity), but out in the field she tends to fall apart.

Do I understand that people like her (and that she will be massively cheered on if she reaches the final)? Yes, from a personality angle (though a bit surprised that the whining is accepted, poor Laura ), but from a business angle not really. Lord Sugar will have to do all the hard labour if he goes into business with her, while she thinks creatively about new ideas. Is that what he wants? Is that perhaps what he tried with Baggsy last year?

Zoe does tend to pick on Susan.
I got the impression that Lord Sugar has noticed after watching the filming and maybe that was why he told Susan to stick up for herself.

I don't understand the Susan love in. She is willfully naive. There is no excuse for it. She wanders around looking doe eyed and seems to contribute very little.
I find the Susan love in hard to understand too.

She has some good points and is a potential business partner to Lord Sugar but makes some pretty basic errors, whines alot and fails to take responsibility for her shortcomings.

In the latest task she claimed to be the brains on the team but certainly misunderstood some aspects and in the car on the way back kept whining and whining. Zoe was right, she was like a schoolkid. She is very very immature and really needs to grow up as she does have some good things going for her.

From what we saw, Susan was having a pop at Zoe. She was going on about how Zoe was unprofessional, and wouldn't accept that Zoe might have had valid reasons for finding her irritating.

People are seeing what they want to see here
.
Pot, kettle, black.

I personally can't understand how some people are trying to justify Zoe's behaviour.

I don't really get why people are calling Susan childish but not pinning the lable on Zoe too.

To me, Zoe's eyerolling and sneering is very immature and not very professional. My niece doesn't hide her emotions through her face very well either, but she's two. Does she do that in team-meetings in her present job/company?! We sometimes get clients with some outlandish ideas, heaven forbid if she ever rolls her eyes at a customer!!

Plus, cutting Glenn off and then hanging up on him when he was trying to have a semi-serious conversation with her and then giggling about it afterwards - very childish, and again totally unprofessional.

Susan may be childish, but she is young and starting out. What's Zoe's excuse?

I think Zoe (and some of the others see Susan as one of the biggest threats!

LS gave a huge hint about where he sees big bucks to be made in the beauty treatments task - and who is the most likely to have submitted a proposal aboout starting up a beauty business????

I have said it before in the forum, but i am pretty sure that they will have had to submit a business proposal to LS as part of their applications, and LS probably had got a pretty shrewd idea who he wanted from the outset. The tasks are where he is watching his shortlisted favourites' performances to help him decide one way or another.

After all these series, we know the type of person he doesn't like (Edna was NEVER going to win as he doesn't like academics), he doesn't like it when losing PMs try to shaft another candidate, or when someone gets ganged up on in the boardroom, and he doesn't like those who hide in the background.

Susan has a business of her own up and running already, is active in all the tasks and wasn't slow to come forward to take the lead. I am pretty confident that she is one LS is seriously considering for the prize, and short of an absolute cock up on her part - she is safe even if she does get dragged into the boardroom

Which makes it all the more surprising how inept her performance was on the beauty task. Thankfully Zoe did not buy all of the product Susan recommended otherwise Susan would have ended up in the back of a taxi.

Susan is bright and has alot to offer but she is very very childish and very immature too. She needs to accept when she makes mistakes and she needs to let things go rather than continually harp on about them.

Sorry, but thats not at all true. |D

There was a £400 pound difference between the two teams on that task. One had +250 and -200 or something along those lines. Had they spent 80-90 instead of the 40 they did, they still would've won by a considerable margin.

If I had to listen to Zoe bitching on in that drooooooooning voice of hers I'd lose the will to live! She certainly doesn't come across as a very nice person. and her attitude towards Susan is weird!

They still wouldnt have won, but they would have an easy target..Susan. They would have all ganged up on her and blamed her for the loss, even though it probably was all her fault. It would have been hard for Shugs to fire anyone else.

I really hope Zoe goes soon- she's repulsive. I'm no fan of Susan but Zoe was so rude to her, speaking to her like a child in that awful, monotone voice. And for some inexplicable reason, she's got Glenn under her spell.

I really don't understand how Susan is irritating. She asked Zoe TWICE about how much she thought some rubbish weighed and Zoe blew off on one.

In the taxi ride back Susan was simply asking Zoe to speak to her with a level of professionalism as Zoe was pointing fingers, raising eyebrows, making weird facial expressions and being all sarcastic in her attitude. I thought that was completely justified of Susan, and Zoe was disgustingly immature to respond with even more brattiness and immaturity.

How anyone can stick up for this detestable bully that is Zoe I have no idea. I absolutely agree with that woman's opinion of Zoe on the You're Fired show.

How would they not have won???

Team Venture: +250

Team Titanic: -200

They used 40 pounds to buy the cosmetics instead of the 90 Susan originally suggested.

They would still have a profit of +200, if not more because they may have sold more.

I will admit she was right in her strategy when she suggested going as far out of town as possible to find the cheaper prices. She wanted to go East didn't she? But her negotiation skills were poor on the task.

Agreed, but her negotiating was spot on this week with the copper that almost led her team to victory.

The way Zoe was having a pop at Susan on the way back to the house was bang out of order
Interesting... I saw that as Susan not letting an issue go.

I HATE with a firey passion how 'youth' is used as an excuse in reality TV shows. She's what 22 or 23. That's old enough to know what the hell you are doing. Susan come across as a spoilt child who's only response when challenged is "it's not fair" My boss would have my hide if that was the best i could come up with
