For all we know - it may have been Zoe who started the conversation in the taxi home (and I can't remember actually ever seeing the two unfired members actually in the taxi home before - we normally cut straight from them walking out of the boardroom to their arrival back at the house), and Suasn was merely coming back at her.

I will admit that I thought of the 3 of them in the firing line this week - Susan was never in any danger - she was told to stand up for herself more and then it was between Zoe and Edna... and as they said on You're Fired - Zoe was the one who got away this week!

Yes but that can work both ways. We have no idea just how irritating Susan can be. We've only seen snippets of her childish behaviour. Judging by Zoe's outburst (when Susan asked how much the junk weighed), it sounded like she'd reached the end of her tether following a stream of annoying questions/comments from Susan.

From using that point, we could also say that Zoe is a very horrible & bitter person and is like that ALL the time.

Zoe was being a bit mean to Susan but I think I would be too - she's one of those people who just grates on you. I also don't like Zoe, she's a sour faced old trout but Susan is very very annoying nad comes across as though she has special needs at times in my opinion (that's not meant as an insult, just genuinely comes across that way I think)

I didn't see it as Susan not letting go. I don't think Susan has ever raised her problem with Zoe before one-on-one, at least not to her face or on screen. However, I think she needed to say her piece to be honest, and vice versa.

It doesn't help that Zoe doesn't seem to listen or want to resolve any issues. I suppose that's consistent, though, since she was the same with Glenn when Glenn was raising similar issues - that Zoe was too dismissive. Ironically, what did Zoe do? She cut him off, hung up on him and then laughed about it, which only emphasise her inability to listen to other people’s opinions when it goes against her own POV.

I agree, Zoe was too hard on Susan and I felt sorry for her Zoe is THE most annoying person, the way she talks in a monotone way

Okay. But it was still a monumental cock up on Susan's behalf in a product group she is a self-proclaimed expert in.

Thankfully Zoe's common sense saved her from a shambles.

She's not childish either. Zoe resorting to making accusations just because Susan has a different understanding of something is what I would call childish.

Zoe is in my opinion, too thick to be on the show. Susan on the other hand, is intelligent and skilled. I hope she wins and that Zoe is fired soon. After here comments against Susan, I wanted Lord Sugar to fire her this week. She has been given too many chances.

However it was Susan's enthusiasm which got them the tanning product in the first place... Without that they would never have won. :sleep:

Haven't seen much evidence of intelligence or skill from Susan. Plenty of enthusiasm, yes, but in all the basic areas of business (coming up with ideas, buying, selling) I haven't been that impressed.

I'm not a massive fan of Zoe's either by the way, but I can totally understand her losing her patience with Susan. I think I would too.

I went back and checked. The 40 was the number of units, not price. Zoe said she didn't want to spend more than £500, and they agreed on 40 units, which was actually £520 (she compromised slightly). So they cost £13 each. So 90 units would have cost £650 more, which would meant losing the task.

However, I don't think Susan actually asks for 90: she starts at 72, and quickly drops to 60, which is the figured discussed in the boardroom. At 72 they'd have been £416 down. They'd still have won the task, but only just, and would have lost Lord Sugar money, which he hates.

Zoe is getting on my nerves now, the way she spoke to Susan was not on, Susan really needs to stand up for herself and not be spoken to by the likes of Zoe who was coming across as a right bully, especially when she sat there in a crumpled heap and looked pathetic as leader on the latest task.

Susan will win hands down if she can toughen up in the next week or so, as she is far more likable than the devious and annoying Zoe, maybe Zoe has picked up on this fact that Susan is more popular and also more prettier!

All those laying into Zoe please remember 3 days of working on that awful task was condensed into 40 odd minutes of highlights. Zoe made the point that all Suzanne does is whine and moan, and when you're PM this can have its limits. So its not surprising Zoe came across badly, but at least she didn't shout, scream or throw a strop.

I personally think Zoe is a very strong candidate with a very astute brain, and I hope she wins.

But clearly it isn't true that all Susan (not Suzanne) does is whine and moan. We've seen her doing other stuff - selling successfully on task one, coming up with ideas on task two and four (in the first case, not a well-expressed idea and in the second case, not a very good idea, but ideas for all that), leading and organising her team in task three (with certain flaws, but also certain strengths) and negotiating successfully this task.

Ok I admit Susan (to give her correct name) is not all bad and has shown some good points in previous tasks, but let me say this whenever women work together and things don't go according to plan you will always get bitching, and I say that from experience.

But all this talk of Zoe being a nasty piece of work or a bully is absolute rubbish.

We don't get to see what goes on in that house.
Maybe Susan and Zoe don't see eye to eye anyway. I think that both will outlast several of the others in the firing line.

Some bitching is normal, and I don't use the word bullying lightly, but in this case, I would.

You do not know if they had lost the tanning product to the other team they would have lost. You are assuming that. Given the ineptitude of team Felicity they may well have lost even if they had the tanning product.

That was no more than a disagreement. I have seen, and been a part of, hundreds if not thousands like that during my career. What needs to be said is said and people move on and get on with the task. Zoe was just being a good PM.

I cannot see Zoe getting past the interview stage.

She has alot of good characteristics but does not strike me as an entrepeneur. Susan, OTOH, has alot of good characteristics but is an entrepreneur she is also very young, raw and immature but with coaching and the ability to keep her ears open and mouth shut could go very very far. I see her as a potential finalist if she learns from the process.

Zoe will only ever be a middle manager. Nothing wrong with that. Know your limitations.

I know which one I would prefer to go into business with and it isn't Zoe.

The problem with Susan is her immaturity and inability to take criticism.

I have seen flashes of inspiration from her and skill certainly. Knock some of the edges off her and you have a very competent, very professional entrepreneur you could easily see as a business partner to Lord Sugar.

Of the rest I only really see Leon and Helen as being possible challengers. The rest have skills, certainly, but would they be a business partner to Lord Sugar ?

Melody is smart but a bit too up herself for my taste.

True, at least she did come up with some ideas and was not afraid to offer them.

She organised her team pretty well and if they had lost the task due to the locations Susan's sub team went to that would not really have been down to Susan but to the fools who sent them to one of the most expensive parts of London.

I thought, as one of the younger contestants, she organised her team pretty well and did a good job as PM. She certainly managed the time well and kept the team focussed unlike Gavin who wasted far too much time.

The problem I had with her in the second task was the reaction to her ideas being sidetracked by Edna. To gurn, pull a face and sit there and sulk like a child. It is not a bad thing to throw a poor idea into the mix when brainstorming. It shows you are thinking. Having said that Edna was not perfect either in that one.

It needed to be said, but not in the middle of the shopping centre (in front of potential customers, no less) and I have no idea why Helen had to be there, which just made it seem like it was a gang-up on Susan.

Also, a good PM will would tried to find a solution rather than 'you've made your bed, now you have to lie in it'. Consider Glenn and Leon's reaction to finding out that they had lost all the pitches in the rubbish task and Zoe floundering - they didn't tell her it was her fault and then brush her off, they actually reassured her and remotivated by suggesting other strategies to get them out of this fix. That a example of good management, imo.

For that reason, I think Zoe was a pretty poor PM.


The same can be said about Zoe. I would respect her a lot more if she actually listened to Glenn and Susan's issues about her attitude/behaviour and then put across her point of view rather than reacting like a child by hanging up and then giggling or mimicking someone's voice in return. I think inability to take critisism and her childish reaction will be the end of her on this show - I can't imagine Lord Sugar putting up with her eye-rolling!

That was her response to Susan's pathetic whining that it was not her fault when it clearly was. Zoe wanted answers and, quite frankly, I do not blame her.

Had Susan taken the blame and admitted her responsibility then it would have been a different matter instead of trying to be sneaky and pass the buck.
