I'm quite surprised by how many people are so vehement in writing off Susan. She seems to have very much polarised the forum. For me, she rather too closely treads that thin line between sweet and whiny, but most of the time I like her. She's done silly things but also successful things, and she's always contributed to her team.

Imo:
Interviewees: Tom, Helen, Jim, Melody, Susan
On their way out...: Glenn, Leon, Natasha, Zoe

Of the interviewees, I think it'll be between Tom, Helen, and Susan to make the final, but I'm not sure which two. I'd personally go with Tom and Helen, but Shuggs and Nick seem to really like Susan.

Has Tom been PM yet? Anyone else yet to take charge?

I'd like to see him on the front line rather than the background. He seems to lurk on the sidelines occasionally pointing out potential f*** ups (quite rightly in a lot of cases I have to admit) but failing to do much else.

I know he has a lot of fans but I have a completely irrational dislike I'm afraid. It's largely based on his similarity to an office colleague. Not just the chin (or lack thereof) but also the rather creepy sycophancy in the boardroom.

Given this will be a working partnership rather than AS looking for an employee he won't have to see again personality is an issue. In which case Jim is a goner and Susan and Helen seem to be in the loop. Tom probably is as well although I'm not sure he has the practical skills AS will need to get things done.

Contenders
Helen - Showed real flair in the previous task
Jim - Showed promise in the first few weeks
Susan - Has only really had one bad week
Melody - Has been pretty good throughout the process

Possibilities
Natasha - Seems quite good but has been a bit all talk and no action
Tom - Seems like he may stand a chance but hasn't really done anything outstanding

Not got a cat in hell's chance
Leon - Absolutely useless, was the least productive last week and his pitch was terrible
Glenn - Pretty much has no chance
Zoe - Can't believe she didn't go out of the three in the boardroom, comes across horrifically and has very little going for her

As far as I can recall, Tom, Natasha and Jim are yet to PM.

Contenders
Jim
Tom
Melody
Helen

Maybes
Natasha
Glen

No-hopers
Susan
Leon (I don't even know who this is )

Tbh Jim is borderline, I think he'll either win the whole thing or be fired next week. Still consider him a contender though because he's so strong. I love Jim so hope he wins.

Contenders:
Melody (Says some daft stuff but comes up with the goods)
Susan (LS seems to have a soft spot for her, often knows what she is talking about)
Tom (Says some good things, pity nobody listens until its too late!)

Maybes:
Jim (Willing to let others take the blame, has got on LS' bad side)
Natasha (Talks up a storm, rarely backs it with action)
Helen (Has stepped out of the shadows, she needs to stay at the forefront)
Zoe (Pretty good but her strategy may come back to bite her!)

Fired:
Leon (Has done the reverse of Helen and slipped into the shadows)
Glenn (Had no control as PM, his attitude is all wrong)
