Edna was the first one that i noticed being a bitch to Susan, in task two when she blatantly shut her down and told her she wasn't listening to her. She was snuggling up to her in tonight's programme, but only because she had more chance of getting Zoe fired than Susan. Susan's very clever and very sweet but the others walk all over her.

Oh, I bet that Natasha really likes Susan and is very unhappy to be on the other team (yes, a pun)

And if Edna hadn't shut her up during the phone apps task, Susan would have prattled on all morning with her "I'm me and you're you" idea. She's like a nagging child at times, and very trying to be around I imagine. |

I'm just not seeing this angelic, downtrodden Susan that others are. She can be quite manipulative herself when she wants to be.

Susan is beyond irritating. Yeah she might be very young but she's not very bright and forever is playing the 'it's not fair card' in a pathetic whiny manner. Disappointed that Nick obviously has the hots for her.

I don't think Edna likes Susan or the other girls or any of the boys either. I don't think any of the candidates like Susan or see her as competion either but just this annoyance that they would ignore if they could.
Susan was childish at the start of this task with the "simple question" thing to Zoe but, after that, she did perform better than the other two girls and talked the most sense. She got the cylinder deal and also clicked what the task was about, both of which Edna and Zoe didn't when they tried to side with each other and make her out to be a thick fool then realisd in the car just who had not fully understood what the task was. |

Contrary to a lot of things that have been written on this forum about Edna, I found her has fair as she could be with Susan, on task two when she was PM imo she did the right thing with Susan, albeit some people thought harshly, imo she was firm but fair due to the time issue. If you saw Susan summing up of Edna on the after programme, her assessment was fair on Edna, as Edna comments on Susan were up beat (even though Susan made negative comments about her on screen). But reading some comments about Edna on this forum she gets classified as being a bitch or evil, I never got that impression at all. In my book Edna was all right. On the after show she came across imo she very lovely and sophisticated person who has a good sense of humour, love the gloves too, she gave a good account herself of her time on the show too. Edna was asked about other candidates too and her comments about them were good and interesting. Imo it was a close call on whom to fire this week, I personally would have gone for Zoe. Well done Edna.

Yeah, they did seem to get on, tbh I didn't see how Edna was a bitch to her as Susan was going nowhere and since that Edna has been the only one to have been nice about Suzie as she calls her. Infact on You're Fired tonight, Suzie was very sweet about Edna in the farewell video so I think they must have got on quite well.

Felicity said on YF that she'd got on well with Susan.
It's only Zoe as far as I've seen who has a real problem with her. Maybe Helen too; she joined in with Zoe in the row on the cosmetics task.. |

It was nice of Susan to go up and say goodbye to Edna with a kiss on the cheek, that's probably the friendliest farewell I've seen.
I think Zoe was just going to walk off before doubling back. The candidates are getting far too personal this year. Everything seems to be a game of one-upsmanship, not just in the tasks but in everything!!!

Fair play to Susan for securing the extra cylinders though. That was entirely her thinking. It annoyed me when Glenn and Edna tried to steal her glory. |

In fairness, when they were directly asked to state the one person most responsible for getting all the copper cylinders, they both agreed that it was Susan.

She seems too girlish and almost envious of the other girls in the competition (like a schoolgirl might do). Remember the only time when she really was a bit laid back (during the entire 60 minutes) was last week, when she had a male PM.

I don't think what Edna did was nasty, I think she was right in stopping self centred Susan from releasing her brainfarts in a formal [sort of] meeting. I think her people dealing skills came out on the you're fired show. |

Natasha for very "bad" reasons in my imagination is a fave - unfortunately she has no realistic chance of winning (though holding out hope that a model will fail to turn up at her mag shoot next week and she will step into the breech and do the bikini shots - like the trooper she is )

I remember early morning walking down Princes Street passing by Lucinda (after the show aired). I just smiled politely and gave a wee nod her way. She gave a bright big smile and a little finger wave. I felt really uplifted for the rest of the day after that - says a lot about her effect on people in my book. Seemed like a really nice human being on the show. Oh and she was wearing a furry (mohair?) bunnet that was RED and I mean RED only thing I have seen redder are my new trainers! Thanks for bring that memory back, mmmm
![]() I still think it's a traversty that sneaky Alex and Helene (who did sod all but drink cups of coffee through the entire series) made it to the final and Lucinda didn't. |

None of them are particularly memorable characters though, male or female. |
