There's always one or two that manage to extend their 15mins of fame...

S1 - Saria
S2 - Ruth
S3 - Katie, Tre
S4 - Raef, Claire
S5 - Kate
S6 - Stuart Baggs "The Brand"
S7 - ?

I'm thinking Tom because of the geeky, nerdy, inventor thing he's got going on. I can see him blowing up caravans with Richard Hammond or something.

I would so watch that! To be honest, I'd love to see more of Tom on TV - I think he's adorable

Lord Sugar tends to be rather snooty about those that do that. Considering he wasn`t even in the running for The Apprentice he went out of his way to use his contacts to get the job as he wanted to get on TV. Sir Philip Greene was the person favoured by the BBC.
I really don`t think LS is in any position to look down on candidates who do go on to appear on TV.
Having said that I don`t like Sir Philip Greene & don`t think the show would have been as successful with him in charge. .

Everyone was shocked when Kate Walsh didn't win and that hard faced caterer girl won, sorry can't remember her name but he is quite good at spotting those who are in it for the fame as opposed to business

Tom should get a job in the gadget show and replace the annoying guy with the list from there

Several of them seem to be on there purely to bring attention to their freelance consultancy businesses (of whatever field) and attempt to catapult themselves to the "next level" of public notoriety, and a TV show or appearances would fit in with their plan.

Melody and Edna are/were definitely in it for this, rather than the eventual prize of a partnership with Shuggs.
