It's only they discover something major during Lot Check or a critical bug surfaces, that they'll delay. Hardware releases are different though. |

There's pretty much nill chance of this getting delayed, I'm pretty sure Nintendo confirmed it's gone gold a short while back (the game is fully developed and ready to be distributed).

I'm convinced this game won't be delayed.
There's the Zelda Symphony concerts in London and New York, plus Hyrule Market in Nottingham this month to tie in to the 25th anniversary and the the release of this game. With all the bad press about Nintendo lately, delaying this game until after Christmas would be the straw that broke the camel's back. |

I doubt it, it's been given an official release date. When they released the E3 2009 artwork, they said they where hoping for a 2010 release, and at E3 2010 they said it would take them the rest of the year to complete it. Neither time did they announce a release date. Though they have a habit of delaying games until they're convinced the game is perfect, they haven't given a release date and then changed it.
Yeah, both Eiji and Shigeru have confirmed the game is finished in Japan, but they're localizing the game (translating text and such) and preparing for the worldwide launch. |

There is more Zelda trailers.
The first is very Okami like. It looks totally awesome. If not purposely, there are definate Okami references, i.e: the lily pads, and the water fountain, and even the music sounds like Catcall Tower, and Hana Valley, and even the whip acts like the Vine celestial brush technique. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79iD-...layer_embedded The second video, which I have chosen not to watch fully, shows Link in a new area called Lake Floria, I'm assuming playing a mini game with a newly designed Zora. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZCMJ...layer_embedded |

Offical Nintendo Mag have reviewed this in todays issue and awarded it 98/100! They claimed it to be the best Zelda game ever made.
Yeah, I'm excited now.

The deluxe edition on Amazon America (amazon.com) has sold out, and they're not taking any more pre-orders. It's a struggle in the U.S to pre-order the deluxe edition now, doesn't seem like such a problem over here, is it?

I mean I hope it is - just something about the cover. Looks odd. EDIT: Just been on their site. Now I feel stupid. And YES! GET IN! 10 out of ACTUAL 10! EDGE reviews are the only ones I usually go by. |

I knew it! 10/10 from Edge is a pretty amazing thing, especially in these times where the promise of a new Zelda game doesn't create anywhere near the same level of excitement within the industry as the other more mainstream franchises do like Uncharted 3, COD MW 3 etc etc
When Nintendo put all their creative talent behind a game nothing but AAA goodness can come of it, the Wiimote+ & nunchuk are one of the greatest tools to hit the gaming world when utilised correctly as seen in a few games already, and this game will prove it once again. I really cannot wait for this and I sincerely hope it gains the attention it deserves and goes on to pick up numerous GotY awards from the big publications around the net. |

Are there any exclusive bundles coming out when this is released or is it just a case of keeping an eye in stores? Can't beat Ninty games for playability

When I first got Wii Sports Resort, I only had 1 motion plus, and several Wii Remotes, and for those other remotes it wouldn't let me play without it. On the Skyward Sword box it says Wii Motion Plus Required, so I'm guessing not.

Heard someone say that you need to stand up to play this game properly, on all accounts the accuracy needed to use the sword and defeat enemies can not be achieved by sitting down.
i find this hard to believe, cant see Nintendo bringing out a link game that has to be played standing up, think of all the people with disabilities who wont be able to play this game if this is the case. Has anyone heard this or more importantly anything official from nintendo saying this is not the case. Edit.. Doing a search on google there appear a lot of people concerned about this, many just dont want to have to stand up to play the game. |

Think the game should have been released a week early on Nov 11th.
11-11-11 Thats a great release date for maybe the best game ever |

Picked up that Edge magazine today. Haven't bought it for years, a lot has changed in the mag since I last got it. Great review, really glowing. A lot is made of the fact that much has changed in the Zelda series with this game. There's a lot of new gameplay ideas, rather than re-using old Zelda structures and ways of doing things. There's no "light all the torches" puzzles, and only one push the block into place bit, which is really heartening to hear. My fear with the game was that I'd just feel that I'd seen it all before, and that Zelda had nothing it could surprise me with any more. Edge reckon not, so I'm glad I pre-ordered it now.

I went to the Zelda concert in Hammersmith last night, and saw the game in action.
Really excited for it now. And the theme is amazing. |

Suprised no online sites still dont have any guides for this game considering many will be playing it in 3 weeks. Normally the guides are being listed for pre-order on online sites months before the game comes out.
Amazon US have nothing really surprised. |
