This is pretty much the last ditch attempt for me to find some kind of merit in the Wii. Motion Controls have been pretty much the worst thing to happen to gaming, when it could have been the greatest.

A brand new trailer has been released today!
It is absolutley beautiful! The entire video is unseen footage of the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-cKrq6iw74 I bought the ONM today, and I am so excited for the game. 98%! That superior to Super Galaxy & Twilight Princess, and so far I've agreed that they are the best games on the Wii. Not long now til it's released! Only 21 more days to go!! ![]()

You don't really see much of the storyline, just an awful lot of fanstastic visuals, and a couple of bosses. Towards the end (around 1:15), it teases spoilers, but you don't actually have a clue of what is going on. |

With Battlefield just out, I'm gonna have to wait a bit for this.
I do have a birthday in early December though, so will be dropping a few hints to friends and family I'm sure... |

Picked up ONM today and read the Skyward Sword review. I am now even more excited for this title. Sounds like it really is the pinnacle of motion gaming thus far and also the Zelda series as a whole (no easy achievement lol), with plenty of fresh ideas that only Nintendo seem to bring to the table. I get emotional just watching the trailers! from the epic orchestral score (remember it's a reversed version of Zelda's Lullaby) to the creative art style. it has a heart and a soul so many games lack.

Reading some of the reviews it appears the old style link dungeons are gone, now small dungeons with more play out in the open. Not sure if everyone is gonna be totally happy with that.

Well the Edge review talks about the levels not being closed off dungeons in themselves, but rather blending into the overworld to give the gamer the impression of a continuous area. I think it sounds fantastic myself.

![]() Does the Edge review have a lot of spoilers? I'm trying to avoid learning too much about the game before it hits, but it's getting harder to resist now that the reviews are out. There's no way I'm going to last until Christmas, haha. |

Think maybe they have made this game more simpler with less thought involved so many more people will want to play it. |

I think people are getting in a tizzy over nothing. The game will still feature dungeons, but the idea is to seamlessly blend them into the over world to give the player the illusion of continuity of the game's world. Relax folks!

Agreed!
And we still have Kirby, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower to come, but yeah Zelda is the last AAA game (and maybe the finest) the Wii will see. As for the changes in design, it had to happen. You can't keep rolling out the same template over and over, even with a franchise as diverse in gameplay as Zelda. If it's to survive now and into the next gen then changes have to be made. It needs to evolve and it sounds like that's exactly what it's doing! |

If they are a lot smaller or easier and dont appear to be proper dungeons then some may not be so happy. Read somewhere this will be the easiest zelda game yet which is not what a lot of people want to hear. |

No one anywhere has intimated that it's going to be an easy game either. Certainly the Edge review didn't if I remember correctly. I would just say, chill, it's Zelda, it's not going to let anyone down. In fact, I'm hoping it blows me away all over again, because I do feel the format needed a little tweaking, and it sounds like that's what they've done. |

Unless the game plays itself, I can't imagine how it could be any easier than Wind Waker or Twilight Princess. That's one of the problems with the modern Zelda games that I'd like to see rectified; there's no challenge. An enormous boss isn't going to be exciting to fight if you know that their attacks only take off 1/4 of heart. I hope we see challenging bosses like Gyorg in Skyward Sword.
