Wow... I just realised that Jamie is quite fit! LOL... but I seriously hate Warren. I mean I thought it was stupid how he walked in and after not seeing his parents for a while just took some chips... hehe. I dont think I like the character. He seems a bit... forced. I dunno.

But both of them are very cute... I like Jamie more though

Yes Jamie is quiet fit, I would not mind him in my bed!
But Warren? Oh please! The shades, the footie are all just too much, Corrie have tried TOO hard with this character which surprises me. They came on way too strong with the pretty boy act! Oh and his voice?????!!

I didnt notice anything wrong with his voice! LOL, but I hate the fact that Corrie are creating cockney families. It's stupid. And I dont like how they came on so strong with Warren... like the Ferrairas in EE...

Tonight's show from Warren was awful - when he was talking to Candice was it just me or did his voice break halfway through?

Chocopop is spot-on about Warren - he is a very forced character.

However, Jamie has started to grow on me, I still think that Frankie and Danny would be better off if they remained as a couple - without and kids.

Jamie is growing on me too. I think its because we saw him in comparison to Warren I like Frankie, but I HATE Danny. I just don't like Bradley Walsh. Not sure why

And wow, I'm not used to these Corrie conversations! I'm kinda new to posting about Corrie, because I can't really be considered 'a proper full time fan'. I've been watching it with my mum since I was born, so 14 years lol, but about three years ago I drifted off to EE. Now I'm gonna try and get stuck into it again

Good for you, I find Coronation Street much more captivating than EastEnders, even during times when there are no major storylines going on. I know that if I watch the Street I will be cheered up no end, whereas sometimes watching an episode of EastEnders has me reaching for the nearest sharp implement.

I've warmed to Jamie, but only since Warren't turned up, so I'm not sure if Jamie's character is starting to settle in, or the actor just looks of Oscar winning potential when put beside Warren.

I can't believe Warren would be served in an off licence he looks about 12 and sounds it too. I thought they would at least have someone who looked old enough to be living away from home and have at least begun puberty especially as he's going to have a storyline with Candice. This actor will make her look like Mrs Robinson.

Yeh, him chatting her up in the Street last night looked awful, he looked younger than David Platt - haha at the Mrs Robinson bit.

I don't know if there's some sort of "Warren Effect" but last night I thought Nikkie Sanderson was very good as Candice....maybe Warren has the ability of making Street actors look like Hollywood superstars...first Jamie, now Candice...next thing we know Nick Tilsley will return and win an Oscar.

Well he is only 15! Although the actor is 17 I think........the off lience is the corner shop right??? If thats the case then it could only be Todd that served him seeing as Dev, Sunita and Maya were all busy with each other at that time, and seeing as people seem to be avoiding it of late he was probley glad for the money i.e he doesnt want the sack, LOL. His voice is bad, its kinda slurred.......

Why are the actors who play kids in soaps always about 2-3 years older than the characters, it just looks silly.

Well yeah but not as silly as David- 13 in the soap and 16 in real life

In fact most of the younger characters have older actors / actresses, the one who plays Katy (17) is 21 and Tina O'Brien is 21 as well i think

I think (maybe because we're used to him now) isn't as bad. I didn't know that Warren was only 15 in the soap either. katy looks lots older than her character and up to now Tina O'Brien managed to look like a16 year old very well. Now that she has vamped herself up to work in the salon she looks her 21 years.

I agree- although with Warren being an ex-apprentice footballer he was more than likely to be U-17.

It just looks silly when they've so obviously found some random short-ish kid to play a character a few years younger- I know I keep saying it but look at David, how many 13 y/os are way bigger than their mum? It's practically the same with Craig Harris...

I'll tell you what else, the wardrobe dept have been rubbish when dressing Warren. He arrived on the Street wearing a jacket with England scrawled over it, and last night he had a red T-shirt with a big England flag on. He looks more the desperate footie fan than pro-footballer (even though he's been sacked).

1) how old is warren meant to be and how old is the acor playing him?

2) did i hear one of them is suppose to be playing a love intrt to tood grimshaw or something. i would browse throught the todd thread but i aint got that much time in the day to read it all. thank you!

I think Warren is pretty cute...now I say that cos I know he's 17 in real life! His character is about 15

As a regular browser of the Todd thread....Warren is unlikely to be a lover for Todd (too young and likes football) and Jamie seems to be going for Leanne. It seems Todd will leave in a month....too little time for one of the brothers to convert!
