Can't my mobile phone number
Really obliged if someone could help me please.
I bought a VF345 vodafone mobile from Argos this morning. When I got home I successfully activated the sim card. The problem I have is that I can't find the mobile number. I have tried ringing #100# and on the screen it said "unknown command". I have also tried in the settings menu for my numbers and it said it is empty. Without the number I obviously won't be able to receive calls and I also can't register the phone. This is my first mobile phone and this is really stressing me out . I really don't what to do. If anyone could give me some advice I would really appreciate it. |

If you can't work out how to find the number on the phone itself then simply call a phone that has calling number display. Either your landline phone or a family member or friend's mobile.
And if no-one answers the call it won't cost anything either

Thanks ellie666, I have looked all over the box and the packaging for the sim card and there is no number.

Oh just remembered it's *#100# to reveal your own number on the phone. You just misssed out the * at the beginning

Thanks Chris
I rang my home phone and got my mobile number on 1471. Thanks so much for suggesting that. I feel so daft that I didn't think of doing that myself. My number still isn't showing on my mobile phone . |

Chris, I have just seen your last post and at long last it worked, I can now see my mobile number.
Thank you so much for your help, I feel so stupid, but as I said this is my first mobile it is all it daunting to me at the moment. |
