No choice. I mean, Brendan's imperfections are fairly major (that beating to a pulp thing) but really, he is ever so endearing
Problem for Ste is, one guy is endearing but with a 'significant flaw', and the other is 100% pure asshole. Noah is the second one.

yes I like this! but I can't stand noel especially if he will stay there all the time. I fear he ruins everything

I can't see it being murder, I wouldn't say it is impossible but like you say there are already four of the buggers running around, one more might be too much.
I am seeing a late night chase of some kind that ends in Gilly either being knocked over or Jacqui fighting him off on a rooftop somewhere and him falling or if they really want to go very dark him being hounded until he commits suicide.
I think it could be brilliant if they play it right.
