Aztec Bars = Cadbury's answer to the Mars Bar. Did they taste like Mars bars too?
No,they weren't like Mars Bars.I'm really trying to remember the difference bit i can't.I know i preferred them to Mars Bars.I think they were a wee bit smaller as well.

Oh thought of some more too, milk bottles and spazzles (Those white chocolate circles with hundred and thousand like topping on them.)
I remember them. And lets not forget cola bottles as well.
Pacers (spearmint and peppermint) sweets.Like Opal Fruits but never really caught on.
That 'Stripes'? bar.The one that'd pull your fillings out even quicker than a Texan Bar.The ad had the post box,postman,Policeman,dog- everybody changing to a stripes pattern every where the person eating the bar went.

I used to love those 'flying saucers', Sherbert Fountains, those solid black sticks of liquorice, and 'rhubarb & custard' boiled sweets!
Does anyone remember liquorice imps - they were in a tiny box, half the size of a matchbox.....sooo delicious!! They had loads in my schools 'Tuck Shop' !
I am desperately searching for somewhere that still makes Liquorice Imps. Does anyone know if they are still made?

Yeah,i wasn't happy.Think they had a light purple wrapper with white writing.A bit the same size as a Topic. That's another one i've not seen for ages.
There'are loads of sweets they should bring out again.
Like the breakfast cereal Golden Nuggets.I went out and bought boxes of them when they made a comeback!.

The 70's might have had some dubious musical fashions/sounds.But the sweets were at the peak of perfection. The crisps as well.Tudor were the crisp of Kings.
And you got free 'Warum Scarum' medallions if you sent them enough empty wrappers.

God I love sweets!

There used to be these nice boxes of chocs in the 70's called 'something special' in a cube, one of those chocs was a barrel with lime flavour syrup in and it was yummy. And who remembers Mint Cracknell and Ice Breaker bars?

Got some great sweetie shops where I live, can get floral gums, cough candy, cinder toffee, coltsfoot rock. My OH brought me back some Edinburgh rock from scotchland, haven't had that for years!

Ok, impress me, who remembers Blobs?!

Old Jamaica is lovely. I've only seen it in massive bars though. Have they always been this way?

Wham bars are much smaller now, I would love to see an original 80s wham bar and compare it to ones they sell today..they seem to be made differently too
