I have never heard of these before. What are they like?
They're hard to describe, the main taste was cinnamon.

Ah chocolate cigarettes! And indeed the white candy cigarettes! We can confidently say that these are two products we will never see again.
You can't quite get cigarettes, but can get candy sticks. And you can get the sticks of chocolate wrapped in edible white paper. (Actually I'm not sure if your supposed to eat the paper, but, hey).

One thing you can get in abundance is Sweet Tobacco. They haven't outlawed that yet

I was a 70s kid so I remember most of the above.

I'm so glad someone else remembers Fruit Thins, nobody I speak to remembers them. Woolies pick & mix! Foxes Glacier Fruits are the closest in taste but they're the wrong shape.

I also loved caramel lollies. They were big round lollies made of a hard toffee/caramel substance in a purple wrapper.

Rhubarb rock was awesome too!

I'm a bit of a self proclaimed chocoholic, love nothing more after a late shift than to go home have a brew with a block of chocolate.

Does anyone remember the flat, pink spearmint chew bar that was wrapped in wax paper? So nice!! Oh and the 'tabacco' that was actually coconut strips and was in a little tabacco sized packet! Delicious!

The only confectionary I eat is chocolate with at least 85% cocoa content. My favourite is probably Lindt Excellence 90% Cocoa.

My all time fav. had to be a Star Trek bar from the 1970s. It was white choc. with lots of crunchy little coloured sweet bits in it. Delicious! Anyone else remember this?

Here is some information to remind you : http://forums.doyouremember.co.uk/th...chocolate-bars

Ah Kola Kubes (and pineapple cubes) - they were nice but if you ate too many it made your mouth sore!
What with cola cubes sandpapering the inside of your mouth, pear-drops slicing up your tongue, and fruit gums yanking out your fillings, 70s sweets were a real blitz against the mouth. (Not to mention the sugar).

Fruit polos.

Did anyone *ever* get a packet where either:

1) They weren't all stuck together, or,
2) They weren't mostly broken
