The book actually said that the story was just dropped at the time, no mention made as to why and that was it. It is something I always wondered.

The people putting the book together put a few strips in to show how they thought it ended, as the original artists/writers etc are all dead.

I didnt really care for how they ended it, but at least it got wrapped up.

Just reading this year's Oor Wullie.

Not read it for sometime. I love the way they have kept it old fashioned but with the new technolgy etc in it in the background.

And when did Wullie get a girlfriend?
