Why is it that we have to have this continuing theme that someone might be somebody else?
I mean how often has that actually happened since 2005?

Let's face it, the whole 'this character is really that character' doesn't really happen does it?
River Song was always a mystery, left up in the air up until a few weeks ago. She wasn't a character who turned out to be a different character.
Why are we so obsessed with the idea that a character is really someone else? where has it come from?
