Fox are giving the X Factor a 'world premiere preview' on July 12th prior to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

Filming of the auditions wrapped up yesterday.

I expect the regional news should be on earlier than it was on Wednesday for 2 main reasons

- 10:35 is a big slot on Fridays, it isn't on Wednesdays
- Besides EastEnders most of the pre-10pm schedule could be dropped without causing much of an issue, unlike on Wednesday.

Would the average One Show viewer even notice the difference?

Well I'm off for the night. Enjoy the no doubt scheduling fun and games people. No doubt we'll be on Part 22 by the morning.

I do hope that this doesn't turn into a scheduling debate again, hopefully we'll stick to discussing the ratings implications of the scheduling.

Tennis will definitely go past 7.30 - I would think it would dent Coronation Street a little, especially if Murray wins a game or two more. Eastenders ought be safe for 8pm though.

Some crazy ideas here before for Autumn 2012 ITV Thursday evenings, they already have one Flopzone on Tuesday - they don't need a second. (Ps ITV only ever do highbrow when they show Downton Abbey aka Upstairs Downstairs II) There is a reason ITV2 shows don't migrate to ITV1 - ITV1 has some standards at least, ITV2 is an embarrassment to television and thankfully by avoiding it, most people agree.

Their shows have a core audience - there are only so many Keith Lemon, Peter Andre, TOWIE fans out there. ITV need to maintain quality, stealing ITV2 formats is just not the way forward.

It used to be on at eleven o'clock!

There wouldn't be any point in doing that, though, because the whole thing depends on a) Murray still being in it, because they wouldn't do it for anyone else and b) whenever the match happens to start, which they don't know until it happens. Until they do the draw they don't even know what days he's playing. The only thing they could do is have a message in the Radio Times saying If Andy Murray Is Playing, Programmes May Change.

Well, I doubt the ITV2 show will happen now because there's a piece in Broadcast today saying they're going to have a job doing both Mersey Shore and Desperate Scousewives because they've both approached exactly the same people and the same places. It says here that the E4 one is currently in pre-production and they've done some casting sessions while MTV's is a bit further away, but MTV have already approached one of the bars only to find E4 have already been there. I wonder if both shows will happen in the end, or MTV might just give up.

MY EPG Has The News at 7:40pm and EastEnders at 8:10pm.
That can't be right surely?

So Regional News at 8.30 after EastEnders. I bet newsrooms all over the country will be a tad annoyed, they now have to wait for EastEnders to finish.

The regional news programmes are at 8.30pm, replacing A Question of Sport in England. Scotland gets Holby City.

Will be interesting to see how the BBC's ratings powerhouse gets on head to head with Corrie.

MTV might as well just go and film characters along the beach front of one of the Channel Islands. They could call it...

... Guernsey Shore!

Welldone to the BBC tonight.

They kept EastEnders where it was and shown the news at 8:30.
I did think the Beeb Might have shown EastEnders alittle later then normal and running into corrie which would have been unfair on their viewers

With all these Jersey Shore rip-offs, I think Chanenl 5 should do "The Only Way is Melbourne" find a street that looks a bit like Ramsay Street (yeah I know its a real street) find some good looking people who dont spend ALL day surfing, and you have a brand new show.

How did the season finale of Blue Bloods do on Sky Atlantic Tuesday night?

Also, good to see Law & Order's ratings on Five on Friday nights slightly increase in the last couple of weeks. Season finale next week.

Andy Murray on BBC1 would have kept growing right up to 730 - when the CS viewers switch over in droves, I expect Emmerdale to be crunched by maybe 1m or so. The +1 showing at 8pm clashed with Eastenders. CS was good tonight can see decent ratings for both showings - the soaps ran to time without overlap at 8pm/830pm.

Not sure how the 3 chat shows will rate tonight, I still maintain that Graham Norton ought be on at 11pm to avoid the clash with Alan Carr - although I doubt many people watch POG, AC & GN on the same night.

The Kennedys ought bounce back tonight from last week, although with a double episode some viewers may prefer to watch one epsiode and then catch the second on timeshift.
