And yet on BBC2 between 7 and 9 they had scheduled...tennis. It's not as though Wimbledon didn't have a slot on the schedule.
The switch is purely a case of ratings above common sense.

Fair point - ITV don't need to get it in the neck over this, though Coronation Street will suffer.
EDIT: Though...what about those who have set up a recording for EastEnders at 8pm on BBC1? Sometimes things have to be moved, it's just unfortunate. But this is not one of those occasions.
