I wouldn't get too excited about AIs for shows with pitifully small audiences. If 59m people out of 61m have already written off Baby Hospital without watching it, then a high percentage of the 2m who did means little really.

Anybody who chose to watch an ITV1 programme called "Baby Hospital" probably wanted a programme made to ITV standards about babies in hospital. I didn't see it, but I guess it probably did what it said on the tin...

How annoying not to get last night's ratings. I bet GeorgeS is on tenterhooks over The Two Show's ratings, he must be pacing up and down like an expectant father in the baby hospital!

Given how low its ratings must have sunk last night, perhaps they should have brought back Chiles and Bleakley for one night, as they have the necessary expertise now at fronting lightweight fluff for almost invisible audiences....

given the 600k in the 16-34 demo, ITV could actually be making money from that show. So if I were a tv exec. or an ITV shareholder, I'd be smiling.

That does make sense - I would bet most are female viewers, 16-34 is the most common time for a woman to have a baby. Now we just need a programme called 'Down at the Pub' for the similar male demo.

I see ITV4 have recomissioned Richard Bacon show - God knows why!

Jeremy Kyle has 24 pc ABC1 skew, not surprising. Is this the lowest ABC1 skew or does anything skew lower?

Quite why people watch Jeremy Kyle, I don't know. They don't stick around after that, that's for sure.

I would argue that Daybreak should be extended and Lorraine shorted, however Jeremy Kyle's on afterwards so it would make zero difference to the fortunes of This Morning.

BBC1's morning is steady and consistent, and more importantly loyal and unlikely to channel surf.

Looks like C4 are keeping The Killing at 9pm, taking it's chances against Torchwood rather than pitching it against Shameless on More4.

It's the lowest ABC1 skew that I've seen. I doubt there's another show which has such a low skew as that .

Just keeping an eye on Hollyoaks ratings. This month (June) is set to be the lowest monthly average yet as it is currently averaging overnight ratings below 900k. Also it has only had one overnight rating above 1 million so far this month. Only 4 episodes of June Hollyoaks left to change things.

if you take out June, then its share its pretty consistent, even with June the share isnt effected too much by the drop in numbers, the dems of course beng very favourable.

Wonder what the highest is? Love to see the figures for Hickstead showjumping that's on Sky Sports this weekend (started yesterday on SS2).

On mainstream telly, probably The Apprentice which has had ABC1 skews of ~65%. There might be some programmes on terrestrial TV (BBC2/C4) though with low ratings which have higher ABC1 skews - something like Genius of Britain, perhaps?

Looks like a very solid average to me, I suspect it had a substantial growth across primetime.

This compares to approximately an average of 4.18m (19.1%) from 7pm to 10pm for BBC1 last Friday.*

* under the assumption that BBC1 had ~3.5m between 7pm and 8pm last Friday

is that higher than what bbc1 gets for a friday night normally?

BBC1 had 4.13m in the 7pm hour last week. Between 7-10pm, last Friday they averaged 4.39m, so yesterday they were up +2.1m (+48%) week-on-week in that time-period.

Much higher. Friday nights are quiet, even in the winter. I guess there's a chance Wimbledon topped the day if it dented the soaps sufficiently?
