Eddie Moon Appreciation

Sorry it had to be done. How good is David Essex as Eddie Moon. Found myself drawn to him watching Eastenders this week. I am a little to young (31) to appreciate his singing career but I am definatley on board with his acting. Anyone else agree?

Agree totally!

I can't appreciate his singing career, but I love him in EE. Which I'm surprised, 'cause it felt like The Moon show for a while, but he's great! Look forward to more from him.

And I think he's a bit good looking too.

knew about his singing career but didn't know he was a good actor, loving him on EE already

Glad i am not alone in thinking this, i am might be naive but i want this thread to become as big as the brendan brady one (for which i am a fully paid up member as well may i add) lol. I have only just started watching ee again as i didn't agree with the baby plot swap, glad i did now!

I think he's such a great character - mainly because of the effect he has had on Michael but he's also brought a new dynamic to Kalfie

I liked his scene last night where he was telling Roxy what happened to his wife.

David will be playing Eddie on our screens up until August after which point he will be going on tour with All the Fun of the Fair. He says "I'll have a chat with them (ee) to see what happens next. Things are pulling me out of EE but emotionally I am there" I for one hopes he does come back i think he has injected some well deserved new blood in to the soap.

I too am unable to appreciate his singig career but I'm glad I can appreciate his acting because I think its great I liked the impact on michaels character as we did not know a lot about him and his personality but now we're starting to see the real him and also eddie is a great character.

Really like him so far! And is it wrong that he's old enough to be my father and I still find him good-looking for an older bloke?

I am quite intrigued about micheal's character as well, the other day when roxy was pushing him i was cringing, i thought shut up or he is gonna hit you, some of the soap mags are saying she has fallen for him because he reminds her of his dad eugh! I like eddie when he is playing the doting grandad i find it really sweet

Well I suppose really he's old enough to be my youngish grandfather, but I always did have a thing for older men I guess

There better be, I wasn't a big fan of Michael beforehand but I feel with Eddies arrival its added a new dimension to the character thats much more interesting to watch

Michaels a character I love to hate (if you get what I mean) and I don't see why roxy would want to go out with someone like her dad lol and I agree with you, i actually thought he was going to hit her he kept me on edge lol I felt so sorry for roxy when he was shouting at her, and I just love eddie he keeps me ineterested because he's new and I want to see what he has to offer to EastEnders.

Good to see the man back in ee last night i quite like the dynamic between carol and eddie, when she is flirting she can look quite attractive though this being ee it wont run smoothly! i will have to watch the episode again as my baby was screaming the place down!
