****POSSIBLE SPOILERS****

First post on here as have only just got an email address that was acceptable to the mods!

The Apprentice was being filmed at the rear of where I work, filming in Emerald Street, WC1 at the end of November last year (I cannot remember the exact date).

I watched for about twenty minutes and saw two people carriers (the ones the candidates travel around in) parked up further along at the end of the street.

I saw both Karren and Nick. Nick was speaking to the camera further down the street (I could not hear what he was saying). Karren was just sitting in one of the crew cars (not one of the people carriers) and looked a bit miserable!

I saw Helen standing on the pavement smoking a cigarette (not being filmed obviously).
I saw Tom standing in the road speaking to the camera. I recall him saying something like "she's a capable candidate" or "shes an ideal candidate" something like that.

I did not see any of the other contestants. I asked one of the drivers if he could tell me anything more and he said something like "we're filming a commercial" with a smile on his face, but seeing Nick and Karren and the people carriers said it all really!

The street/area hasn't been shown so far as far as I can tell.

It doesn't really give much away I suppose but Im intrigued by Tom talking about someone like that "she's a capable candidate" etc - surely this wouldn't be something that he would be asked about until near the end of the process??

By the way, I haven't been able to tell what type of company the cars were parked outside of as there is no signage etc but by the looks of things and from some of the other companies that share the street at the rear of where I work it is possibly an advertising agency.

Oh, forgot to say I overheard one of the crew saying that they were heading to 'Milk Street' next after filming in Emerald Street?

If this is true, then I already know who the finalists will be (and which candidate will not return for the final).

I wonder if that's the interview round?

They normally do them at Viglen don't they?

Where is that? Or, what else is in WC1...

Maybe they were filming for "The Apprentic..Your'e Fired" where we do see opinions given about the fired candidate.

But I hope you are right and Tom makes it to the final.
Helen also was good last week as PM.

The first task was recorded on the 28th Sept, and they do roughly 2 tasks a week. Task 4 was filmed on 8th Oct, and on the 28th Oct they were doing a task we've not seen yet. Late November does sound late enough to be the final.

I'm not good at interpreting these things - does this mean Helen is one of the finalists?

Some candidates come back to help on the final task, so I don't think we can tell. If anything, it sounds to me like Tom was a non-finalist talking about a finalist (who may or may not be Helen).

This is how I interpreted it and if the period is correct it also means that one of the other candidates (still in the process at the moment) is probably not present for the final (and therefore does not make it to the final).

Not sure why you found it so difficult. Just google email address and any which is not yahoo or similar is acceptable.

Then why open a thread which clearly says 'SPOILER' in its title?

The only time when there is any justification for moaning about spoilers is when an fm deliberately posts a spoiler in a non-spoiler thread

Yes, I interpreted it as that as well so it's possible Helen was a finalist and Tom was speaking about her as a non-finalist.

Helen smokes? Not so perfect afterall I guess. *phew*

Its also possible that Helen was one of the helpers along with Tom and that it was another female who was a finalist. Because if Helen was the finalist then we have an all female final.

Is the presumption that Susan is the other finalist

A certain candidate is seen giving a lecture abroad on a newspaper clipping dated the end of november (well, the clipping tells us the lecture took place then actually).

Doesn't anyone else think its odd also that Nick and Karren were both at the location for filming? As I said it was late last November and I only saw Tom and Helen. I didn't see Helen speaking to the camera at all, like I said only smoking a fag near one of the people carriers! Doesn't seem like a normal task with just the two of them and Nick and Karren both being there!

Karren didn't half look miserable!!

Could it not be some sort of final 5/6 task with two teams split in to two? (i.e. two teams, each team having 3 people with two in one car and 1 in the other (i.e. Tom and Helen were half of one of the teams)? Just a thought.

It's more than likely this was something filmed for either the final task for the two final candidates (Tom and Helen with Tom talking about Helen as his rival for the final and praising her) or they are both losing contestants having come back to assist the real finalists? Who knows, maybe I/we are reading too much in to it.

Personally I don't want to see either of these two in the final.

Tom.. Well, Tom just annoys me. I've not seen him come up with any half decent ideas or make any practical business moves.

Helen hadn't done anything up until the most recent episode. I didn't even realize she was in it until she became PM!

But actually, it is a weak bunch of candidates... Anyone could take it!
