I have an HTC Desire...the Samsung Galaxy S is better. But dont tell the wife!

Sony's hit and miss record with updates would put me off. The only real advantage it has over the Samsung is that there is a flash on the camera (which is 8mp, the Samsung is 5mp). But the Samsung has been out for a little while...so all the bugs have been ironed out!

And for the record, O2 have been spot on so far too.

The deal is £10.50 for the phone and call package with 50mins talk and 250 texts. To that you add your choice of data package £3/100Mb; £6/500Mb and £10/1Gb so you could go as low as £13.50!

With the data package you also get unlimited wifi access via BT Opennet and The Cloud plus photomessages (20 with the £16.50 package)

BTW, they allow tethering of your laptop/netbook from your data package as well.

If, like me, you are a very low call user and put Skype on for those out of contract calls you would seem to end up with a very good deal with this. My Arc should arrive Monday

The number of free MMS messages you get depends on the data package: 100Mb -0; 500Mb - 20; 1Gb - 50
