Furthermore does anyone care?
Just listen to what you want regardless of what is deemed popular by a chart that doesn't fully reflect what people buy. I mean if stores like Asda and Woolworths that sell an homoganised version of what they perceive to be music that people want can contribute to the charts whilst some specialist shops don't it means nothing. |

(so that wont get to number one, as every single i buy starts going down after i have a copy) |

I dont believe it!You didnt seem to include any novelty, jokey, camp,or songs performed by daytime childrens tv personalities!Theres something at no 9 by the Tweenies, that kinda thing usually makes number 1.On that subject, think abnout this.
Bob the Builder has a hit or 3 under his belt, but would you agree that if Neil Morrisey released a single with his name instead of hiding inside a fat builder that it woulkd shift f*ck all copies?Makes you think! |

It's okay because it covers an old song and goes quite slow which is good for Christmas.
No classic mind. |

The way it's looking is that Robbie and Nicole is going to be number 1 for xmas, but anything at number 1 is better than having a song done for children's program. ie Bob The Builder or The Tweenies.

When you say Gorden Haskell is currently at no. 2 I assume you mean No. 2 in Midweek Charts. If that is the case, he's not actually at no. 2 in the charts,he's no. 2 in the midweek sales charts. Furthermore, he's not, he's at no. 3.
Infact here are the week's midweek charts, if you like to be surprised on sunday afternoons, then TURN AWAY NOW 01. Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman Something Stupid 02. Daniel Bedingfield Gotta Get Thru This 03. Gordon Haskell How Wonderful You Are 04. Sophie Ellis-Bextor Murder On The Dancefloor 05. Stereophonics Handbags & Gladrags 06. S Club 7 Have You Ever 07. Samantha Mumba Lately 08. Tweenies I Believe In Christmas 09. Hermes House Band Country Roads 10. Ian Van Dahl Will I? 16. DJ Otzi Hey Baby 27. Faithless Tarantula 28. David Gray Say Hello, Wave Goodbye 29. DJ Otzi Do Wah Diddy 32. Mariah Carey Never Too Far/Dont Stop 44. TJ Davis Wonderful Life 46. Warp Brothers Blast The Speakers 52. Boney M - Daddy Cool 54. DJ Otzi X-Mas Time |

Well, usually Page 451 on Channel 4 teletext on Fridays gives Midweek sales, as does www.dvdfever.co.uk, which is where I got this batch from. www.burnitblue.com and www.mtv.co.uk usually give midweek sales too.
