It was horrible!
The walk there, we literally had to climb up this mountain. Well not quite a mountain but it was so steep and horrible and now I'm all achy But at the campsite we made a bonfire and me and my friend just spent about 2 hours mocking and being rude and arguing with this teacher who is ALWAYS rude to us in our lessons but he didnt care The walk back was okay but now in a lot of pain haha so happy it's over!
I second all of this I'm now confined to my sofa, it hurts too much to move
although on the walk back today we passed a field with horses and we neighed at them (as you do :sleep to see if they noticed and four of them looked up and walked over to the fence, and we found we had carrots so we fed them carrots
We also ended up walking through two private fields growing runner beans and had to create our own path, resulting in a lot of nettle stings, and we had to walk through a field of cows, having to walk next to a cow which was only a metre away from us, it started to stand up so me and my friend ran back the other way and had to go through two more fields and climb over barbed wire to catch up with the rest. It was an eventful weekend

aw, seriously I feel your pain! My d of e was literally one of the worst experiences of my life. I hated it. I was the only one in my group willing to read the map! ugh. Did it rain? At least it you had some fun, yay and it's all over now!
Ah really?! For us there was one girl in our group who just went ahead with everything, took control and wouldn't let people hold the map! We took a break today for lunch and she stood up like pacing telling us to hurry up eating! It rained today which was actually okay but freezing!! YAY!

OT
My drama group are really annoying We did a practice exam last week and we got the feedback and basically we need to improve a LOT for next monday, and im organizing all these rehearsals and none of my group can be bothered to come but we really need them?! Frustrated

BIB1: this was just funny, we're like horse whisperers
BIB2: half way through this my friend whispered to me that they were bulls  so terrified.

Oh my gosh we had to walk through a field of cows too! It was literally the scariest thing.. there were about 100 of them (no joke) and we looked at them, they looked at us, and they started walking towards us and they got faster and faster and we ended up running and we had to get over this fence before they got to us. It was so scary but I'm glad you got to feed horses carrots, yay!

It was actually terrifying, I'm so scared of cows! This one girl in our group got really annoyed with us because no one had realised we'd turned back until they were at the other end of the field so they turned round at the end and just saw us walking off  there was no way I was walking that close to a standing cow

Hehehe! Sorry!

Do a bit of revision, read a chapter of fic as a treat, then some more revision and so on
You're welcome! Thanks for the links to all Mercurial's fics, I haven't read any Chryed fic in ages but I think I may start again tonight with that

HAAAAAAAA. Oh God.

It's on 'Editor's Picks' now - so more exposure for the hotness...oh and the important social issue, that too. They've even put a picture of the boys up now! Pre-first kiss. They both look angry. Hot.

That sounds scary I love animals (hence my choice of uni degree ) but hate cows!!! Not good when I go to uni in Devon so we visit loads of farms and have written countless essays on lactation cycles... in fact I think that made me hate them more

Me and my family had to walk through a herd of them in Wales once so I just picked up my dog and we very slowly walked past them while they stared at us... I don't like the way they just stand and stare at you, chewing grass like gangstas chew gum in films

/end of cow rant

Hi everyone!
Was not going to log on (yet), but having a quick lurk, I read MercuryPhoenix's article and the one that PoppyMay posted the link of, and I just had to come on.
Wow, MP, that 'rant' you call it was brilliant, it made me angry and made me smile and put a lump in my throat at the same time... It's bloody marvellous and so full of truth. I hope as many people as possible get to read this...

I posted the link to the other article - which I now hear is Indie's - woooow!! great!! - on my FB, hope a lot of people get to read it too. The word needs to be spread!

Just some of the comments in response to it, really freak me out...

Anyway... back to lurkdom now. Speak in a bit!
