I beg your pardon????????? A simple workaround, that was mentioned right near the beginning of the thread re the guide button.
Personally, I don't consider that issue to be a bug.

A friend , aged 75, didn't even notice the delay in the guide populating after pressing the button. He isn't bothered about it, he just looks through the listings, as he always does. A very satisfied customer, as am I.
As an aside, If you had ever used an older Sky+ box, that is forever searching for listings when you go into the TV Guide. They never sorted that out until HD+.
No Digi-box is perfect. If the Foxsat is as bad as you say, why keep it
