television and theater system
i have a lg lcd television. i have a dvd recorder attached via a scart, av1. this weekend i aquired a lg dvd receiver plus 5.1 speakers. i want to have the theater system enabled for films etc. through my television. i attached my theater system thru scart to tele on av2. but cannot get it to work although it does on av1. do i need to get a red yellow and white lead to connect the theater system and do i also need to connect through scart to av2 or just the three lead. hope you can help thanks chrissy.

What do you mean by "cannot get it to work"?
Did you select the AV2 input on your TV with its remote? Do you get the setup menu from the DVD/Surround unit showing? What's the TVs model no? |

Use the scart lead, or HDMI ( a lot better ) this will give a better pic,and will make the tv switch channels when you turn the receiver on
