I was wondering if anybody can help with this one.

Since the firmware upgrade at the beginning of June I have got a slight but very annoying lip sync issue with ITV1 HD.
This only seems to be present when there is an HD broadcast and not when SD programs are broadcasting. It was perfect before.
BBC HD including 1HD was and still is spot on since the upgrade.

I live on the south coast and so I am given the London version of ITV1 HD.
I have the Freesat hooked up via HDMI to the Sony tv and also optical to a Sony 5.1 Amp and no matter which way I listen to the sound it is still the same.
I tried the Lip Sync option but that goes the opposite way to the problem I have.
Any ideas?
Would changing post code to a Manchester address help?

It might purely because ITV1-HD Granada is only lpcm stereo sound.

Using ITV1HD London too - same problem
Particularly bad on "Scott and Bailey" last night but much better on subsequent programmes

Scott and Bailey has had awful lip synch in every episode. I find it almost impossible to watch.

ITV1 HD (London) lip synch now perfect since ~30/6/11 - had been slightly out for ~3 weeks ?

Thanks for letting us know, I will have a go at putting my box back to the London channel and see how I get on.

Just add it to non-freesat to check before you change your postcode.
