Tonight's double Corrie - class!
Very impressed with tonight's two episodes:
Lots of Blanche and Norris camping it up; Emily having a "holier than thou" rant (and then having to eat humble pie); Tyrone and Kirk salivating over Tracy; and best of all, we even got a neck-wringing "Oh, Trayceeeey" from Dierdre! How long is it since we had one of those?! P.S. If any more proof were needed that Norris is a friend of Dorothy's, he admitted to watching Bad Girls

(as usual) That's what I love about Corrie - it's a real good mix, there was the sad story of Sunita (which looks set for a happy ending - for now) alongside some classic comedy moments. I think Tracy and Ciaran work well together, there seems to be some good chemistry between them at the moment...well I think so anyway. Another thing I like, which I just realised tonight, is Liz McDonald's return. She has came back to the Street rather quietly and been given time to settle back in, before she obviously becomes a part of the Karen McDonald departure story. Coronation Street really is those two theatre masks, you know the ones I mean? The one with the smiling face and the one with the happy face? |

I said before Corrie had improved a lot since the infamous storyline ended. Comedy is what they're good at.

I was even impressed with Dev tonight. The way he acted when he got the good news from the consultant was so realistic

pity about Sunita though, I find her voice very annoying, I can hardly hear/make out what she's saying especially in this sort of scenes. It all sounds like ooooooo ooooooo ooooooo ooooooo to me. Anyone else feel the same ? |

I loved the scene with Ken and Deirdre in the garden and then Tracy walks in and she was saying how she made the tape for Dev, with K&D thinking that it was a dirty video! LOL

Ken and Deirdre's reactions to news about their children always makes me laugh! Like when they found out about Peter's bigamy and his child, then Tracy and Roy, and tonight thinking Tracy had makde a dirty video! LOL.

Norris's 'Bad Girls' remark had me in hysterics, sadly so did Dev's acting at the hospital - sorry, I just can't take the man seriously anymore. Overall, two really good episodes, made especially good by seeing the incredibly annoying Warren (he is only 12 isn't he?) get slapped round the back of the head by Jamie - who I'm rapidly warming to

The only thing that spoiled it for me was Sunita. There's a 95% chance she'll sail through the operation - so she convinces herself she's going to die. Why didn't she write the letters to her friends and family the night before?
But that was the character, I guess, I can't really complain about the way it was done. |

Why do people call Tracey...Traceyluv...makes me laugh though!
Last night was great, I am soo happy that Sunita and Dev are together, this relationship was built up over time which makes it even more special, IMO. What made me laugh was when Tracey asked Ken and Deidre if they wanted to watch the Video
