Probably not excactly, but panna cotta is cooked cream with gelatine.

I still eat blancmange.
It's only really milk and cornflour, flavoured with whatever you fancy. So a set custard, really. I make them quite a bit. |

It was horrid especially the strawberry flavour. Now we can have lovely creme caramel, yoghurts and panna cotta instead.
