Hello chaps

This might sound a bit weird and I might not be able to explain it properly but I’ll give it a go! I have a DVD recorder and everything is ok with it apart from the LCD display on the front of the machine. The bottom line of the display is quite a bit dimmer than the rest of the display. For example, think of a digital ’3’ or ’8’ the bottom segments of those characters is not as bright as the rest of the display.
Is there anything that can be done about this? Am I being too an*l ? Should I just shut up and go away?!!
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Thank you very much.

It might help if you provided the model number. The ES10 had dim display problems for example. I've owned a couple of these so I know.

new displays are readily and cheaply available from your local Panasonic dealer -- just use the pana web site to find the nearest to you !
