For me smoked or nothing at all I cannot bear unsmoked bacon.

Like both, but unsmoked is the main type of bacon I buy.

for a bacon sandwich, on cheap white bread, it has to be unsmoked back and hp sauce. but for cooking with it must be smoked streaky, and that includes a bacon topped burger. The reason for putting bacon on a burger is not for the lean back meat bit, that almost all establishments in the uk put bacon on a burger with, but should be the extra flavour from the fat of crispy streaky bacon.....combined with cheese, that makes a decent bacon cheese burger!

I like unsmoked if im cooking a fry up or having a bacon sarnie. Anything else makes me too thirsty.
If im cooking with bacon and having it in a casserole like liver and bacon, then i like smoked streaky bacon. |

Unsmoked and nice and crispy for me! Smoked makes me thirsty and gives me heartburn!
