The Kindle website mentions an experimental web browser. Can anyone give any advice how usable this is?
I was looking into buying a Kindle, just for reading. However, we get the odd occasion where there are not enough computers in the house to meet everyones needs, at once. So is its browser ability enough to do basic browsing? What can it do as a browser? Is it just text or can it do a degree on monochrome pictures? Does it filter content to just show the words, or what?
Also, if the browser is usable, does this mean that if I went for the 3G version, then would I have a free browser when out and about? Is the 3G truly free, or is there an annual charge?
I'd just started to look at the kindle as I was just contemplating an e-reader. Does it have more? Will I be able to use these additional features?
