Here's what I think. John's over Josie, but he's definitely not over JJJ and all that entailed. Does that make sense?

Gah!
I just wrote a long old post about my 'feelings' and one wrong click and I lost the whole bloody thing. So then I wrote it all again and clicked send and the thread had bumped!! Anyway, it's important to me so I'll write it again!
I've been thinking how I can have a rant about the recent shenanigans (such a good word!) and I realised that although I haven't been here in a long time, the JJJAT was where I started and so I suppose it's the place to come if you have something to say. Most of you probably don't know who I am, so hello, I'm Pops - I was here in the Summer, alot. Nice to meet you!
Also, I haven't kept up on what's been going on. I mean, I know they split up (God wouldn't it be funny if I didn't, imagine you lot having to explain that!), but I haven't read the post break up interviews, looked at pictures, watched TSAJ or kept up with the thread. Not many people I follow on twitter talk about them (well, some do, which is the point of my rant), and so I just don't really know what's been going on. Last week, or whenever it was, I unfollowed John due to his #ff. Personally, I didn't want to be part of his followers statistics after he'd done that, I still sometimes read his timeline (especially if people are replying to him). I still follow Josie.
So, here's my rant.
What the hell is wrong with people?
Did we not spend the summer (and most of you, alot longer) watching these 2? Did we not spend however many months getting to know them?
Then how on earth are people just now deciding that they will split into teams and mock and abuse the people in the opposing team?
At what point did you forget you knew that Josie and John would react like this? At what point did you forget their personality flaws, forget how their lives have molded them into these two difficult people? What did they do that made you decide they were the spawn of the devil and you must hate on them and all who like them?
I just don't get it, I really, really don't. Surely I'm not the only person who hasn't taken sides? Surely I'm not the only person who hasn't decided that anyone who supports Josie is stupid and gullible?
I can only think of 2 reasons that people are so vile about them and their fans.
1) Sometimes, you just go off people.
2) JJJ were nicer together than they are apart.
I think that it's ok to go off JJJ, I mean they aren't in our lives so why bother. (Although from what I can tell, neither of them has committed a crime). I'm not sure how I feel about former thread friends in opposing camps!! These people bought this thread together, we made friends. And because JJJ have split up you have to as well? It's not right, and I don't think it says much about 'you' as a person.
With regards to point 2 - I'm sure their personalities are the same, it's just that the love has gone and therefore we start to dislike the bad points of their personalities that we previously put up with because we liked them as a couple. Well, I'm sorry. That's just shallow. I mean, think of it this way - you people that hate one or the other so much, would you still hate them if they got back together? I'm sure you'll say you would. But to me that's just odd.
Maybe now you're saying things like 'well, I always liked Josie/John (delete as appropriate!) more anyway' as if that's ok.
For me, it's not about them, it's about your treatment of them and each other.
Anyway, that's that rant over. Here's my next one.
At one point do ANY of you know whether he owes her money or not? Do any of you actually know that he doesn't? Well if you do, say your piece. If you don't actually know, then we'll just have to assume that he does owe her money - I assume that when she moved out of the property there were some final bills that needed to be paid - perhaps the money was for them? Either way, who fricking cares!
People change, they evolve to their lifestyle and their surroundings. They change their minds, they love and they don't. I understand all of this, so if you can change your mind on whether you like someone or not, why can't they change their mind on whether they'll sell a story in a magazine? After all, they still need to earn money.
Everyone is allowed their own opinion, obviously. It's why we come here, to type out our thoughts. This one is mine, I needed to say it.

I don't know what to believe as far as mag articles go these days. I take most of what I read with a huge pinch of salt. At the end of the day their job is to sell as may copies as possible.
I always remember that tweet of John's though (maybe because it was in the third person!!) 'You can sue mags if they print lies, but John James will not be suing anyone' (wtte) Made me do a semi-chuckle at the time

I'm not saying it was deffo a friend, but I'm saying it was planned. It got John's approval whether or not that friend actually said those things. John and Sherri could have said those things and give it a head up for be printed....
Bottom line still is, that John knew the pictures would come along with the story.
This did not come as a suprise to him.
Look at the one line: "John is furious that Sherri has been dragged to his hell"
HELLO!!! So how is this friend helping them by going into detail how sweet and laid-back she is. The opposite of Josie.
If John did not now, he should now be going around his friends houses angry and asking them who sold him out

I can see the difference but surely the evidence of Johns new girl would be the interview he done where he said he was seein someone. These pics came a few weeks later so they a new story to go with it.

Totally agree with your rant. But I find it understandable that some people also feel the need to rant and vent their feelings about it all. The thread in recent weeks has also been about trying to fathom out what's going on in John and Josie's heads with very little information to go on.
I think most of us just like being on the thread with our fellow JJJATers and discussing John and Josie as well as other things.
Btw, used to love your posts when I lurked.
Just bringing my thoughts over from other thread (don't know how to quote it etc) anyways.
I truly believe John reads this thread. He will have read that very few of us, if any, believe those pictures were the real deal. So I'm taking a stab in the dark here and will 100% expect that there will be more photos to come, but he WILL make them look good, they will be holding each other realllll close, they will be holding hands realllllll tight etc etc. But John if you do read this thread, remember if you put it out there we will see, and we will then disect everything to an inch of its life. If it aint there in the picture, we'll find it. No worries. Predict that! (Still love the iccle so and so though)

Did we not spend the summer (and most of you, alot longer) watching these 2? Did we not spend however many months getting to know them?
Then how on earth are people just now deciding that they will split into teams and mock and abuse the people in the opposing team?
At what point did you forget you knew that Josie and John would react like this? At what point did you forget their personality flaws, forget how their lives have molded them into these two difficult people? What did they do that made you decide they were the spawn of the devil and you must hate on them and all who like them?
I just don't get it, I really, really don't. Surely I'm not the only person who hasn't taken sides? Surely I'm not the only person who hasn't decided that anyone who supports Josie is stupid and gullible?
I can only think of 2 reasons that people are so vile about them and their fans.
1) Sometimes, you just go off people.
2) JJJ were nicer together than they are apart.
I think that it's ok to go off JJJ, I mean they aren't in our lives so why bother. (Although from what I can tell, neither of them has committed a crime). I'm not sure how I feel about former thread friends in opposing camps!! These people bought this thread together, we made friends. And because JJJ have split up you have to as well? It's not right, and I don't think it says much about 'you' as a person.
With regards to point 2 - I'm sure their personalities are the same, it's just that the love has gone and therefore we start to dislike the bad points of their personalities that we previously put up with because we liked them as a couple. Well, I'm sorry. That's just shallow. I mean, think of it this way - you people that hate one or the other so much, would you still hate them if they got back together? I'm sure you'll say you would. But to me that's just odd.
Maybe now you're saying things like 'well, I always liked Josie/John (delete as appropriate!) more anyway' as if that's ok.
For me, it's not about them, it's about your treatment of them and each other.
Anyway, that's that rant over. Here's my next one.
At one point do ANY of you know whether he owes her money or not? Do any of you actually know that he doesn't? Well if you do, say your piece. If you don't actually know, then we'll just have to assume that he does owe her money - I assume that when she moved out of the property there were some final bills that needed to be paid - perhaps the money was for them? Either way, who fricking cares!
People change, they evolve to their lifestyle and their surroundings. They change their minds, they love and they don't. I understand all of this, so if you can change your mind on whether you like someone or not, why can't they change their mind on whether they'll sell a story in a magazine? After all, they still need to earn money.
Everyone is allowed their own opinion, obviously. It's why we come here, to type out our thoughts. This one is mine, I needed to say it.

So, here's my rant.

I agree with some of what you have posted, and without taking offence, I have personally found this a balanced thread unlike some of the others who do hate on them, On this thread we are friendly, have a good laugh, have some brillant objective, and positive posters and generally respectful to one another. I have seen no hate comments or what I would class as hate comments on here about either of them, sometimes we disagree but that is natural and what keeps this thread interesting and why we keep coming back. We do tend to dissect and analyse everything little thing and I am guilty of that as anyone but thats what it is all about, otherwise it woud be pretty boring. I appreciate what you are saying but really I think you need to comment on JJAT or the court thread, as none of what you say applies here, not from what I have seen, with respect

I always said that that he wants to be in control, he even admitted it, but Josie s too strong a personality for that, shes an alpha female prob from having younger siblings and he couldnt handle it, hence neither of them backing down etc. I think his actions since he left for oz is all part of his wanting to get back control, not necessarily of her, but the situation and his emotions. It may be that continually goading her is this one upmanship. Imagine telling someone who you love so much that they have to learn their lesson, and this is his way of doing that. Maybe this staged photoshot and article is all part of it, not convinced yet its real, because if he was really happy and moving on with his g/f and life, he wouldnt need to carry on like he is. Josies been ignoring him too, as she did in the house, and he doesnt like it. Hes a weird one imo full of contradictions, but we def. saw a softer side to him when he was with Josie, he said she brought out a better side to him, its sad he didnt let it continue, but who knows where it will all end up. I think theres more unpleasantness to come though. I just hope Josie is able to bear up through it, shes not as tough as she makes out.

Hi - I wasn't saying the comments were on here (although I have seen some if I've ever lurked). I said I needed somewhere to post. I don't want to post on the court thread as I don't know what it is, and I don't want to post on the JJAT as my post isn't pro John or against Josie. I wanted to post where followers of both would read it and understand (or not) what I was trying to say. I didn't want to bring it to twitter where alot of my followers/people I follow would rather not talk about it. Also, with respect, there is alot of stuff posted on here that is to do with neither....
