This is but one of many, many stories strengthening the rumours that Keisha is a very nasty person behind closed doors and a snake in the grass, notice how she calls the other Sugababes 'members' and not bandmates or the girls, instead she is acting like she is in charge...

She may have formed the band, but that is no reason to act like a control freak and be a boss bitch to the other bandmembers...seriously, there is too much dirt on this girl for it not to be true...

Anyway I am really looking forward to her solo stuff. She's a perfectionist. I think the music will be of strong quality.

I think she's definitely left it to late. People don't seem to care that much about the Sugababes these days, past and present, so I doubt whether this venture will be a success.

I do however look forward to the new Sugababes stuff. My sisters partner works at Sony and he has heard several tracks. His words were 'Destiny's Child meets Lady Gaga' so I am very interested in hearing what they have come up with.

She's signed to Island, not Sony. Therefore, I doubt that severely as I'm sure Island won't hand out her tracks to other labels.

This new material for them sounds interesting...I think they are trying to take Keisha down the quirky/soul route which just will not work for her...If she teamed up with Dr. Luke for her album, she could be a very big hit...

I'm not sure about her as a solo artist. She certainly has the voice to carry a tune by herself but similarly to Mutya I never got a sense she could be a music act of her own outside of the Sugababes. Nothing to do with talent or popularity but more with a lack of musical identity within the group. You can tell at the time, her lable/management didn't know how to market Mutya and her image just didn't match with the music she released, neither her voice suited the direction she took for her debut album. I fear the same for Keisha especially because, as it has been said before, it's very likely Island doesn't really give a care about her and the solo deal was just an incentive to shut her up.
Musicwise, I'm not fond of what I've heard. Gimme Pressure is a good track but too generic for my liking so if it's the type of music she's going to give us for her debut, her solo career might last the time of her debut single if she's that lucky:sleep:

Wow, this is exactly my viewpoint...she has no real appeal as an artist on her own...she fits into a band as she provides a good voice, and looks like the bitchy one of the group (which she apparently is), but as a solo artist, there is just way too much lacking for her to work properly...
