Weird thing about the AM/PM thing was when the Doctor himself got it mixed up in "The Pandorica Opens" when arriving in the Roman Era, he states something like "AM, no PM, no A.D.!". Either it was vaguely significant and still is to be explained further (unlikely) or the Moff was having a quickly turned around laugh at a production error (likely?).
