Just looking at Rory's hospital pass again.

Has anyone tried scanning or tried to work out the barcode on the pass to see if it gives away a clue.

I think Rory doesn't actually belong in that time, that is why he noticed lots of things.

He is not where he should be, that is also why he keeps dying.

Possibly he will find where he is meant to be, like some characters do.

Keeps dying?

He's died once, been erased once, nearly drowned once, dream-killed in a once, an hallucination of him has died too...

So how is that 'keeps dying'?

Since his introduction, The character or some version of it has either died or appeared to die 5 times in 1 and a half series.

(we'll just count erasing as death as being removed from reality as we know it is usually quite final).

Thats a pretty impressive death to appearance ratio! He's like the Kenny of Dr Who.

No, the point is Rory has only died once.

Every other time wasn't Rory actually dying.

So how is he dying 'all the time'?

The audience has been lead to believe that he's died on several occasions including TDW, COTBS & DOTM. I think this is what people are referring to.

sandydune's theory relied on Rory having really died more than once - I pointed out that this isn't the case, thus disproving the theory.

Rory himself seems to think he's died several times.

He says "Welcome to my World!" when Jen talks about dying in the Ganger 2-parter.
