I think its a combination of 1 and 2, he does want children,it was always part of the dream, but he the time isn't right. So while he does want kids, he doesn't want them right now and he doesn't think it will happen anyway.

On Yusef's involvement - if he has taken over the surgery he may have access to Amira's medical history, so he might know she was pregnant when she left.

Awww, I'm glad you're feeling good . I signed off last night absolutely shivering, despite being all wrapped up. But luckily my bf came around after work and bought his portable heater so luckily, I just managed to avoid getting ill - thank goodness! My throat is a bit sore but apart from that, I'm actually fine *thankfully*

Just had a catch up. Man I so wish I could stick around I have so much I'd like to say/discuss and some questions I wonder if anyone can answer but as it is I'll just post my thiughts and look ever more forward to rejoining you and all the fun and games in 2 weeks when I'm back.

So the last few weeks ahve been a bit weird. Not entirely sure what's going on in our boys' heads

Christian, I think has got everything he always wanted which makes him both very happy, and petrified it will all go wrong, or he'll lose it. Some of his insecurty was addressed yesterday, some back pre proposal, but I wish they did more. Always wanting more I wonder if his 'blabbing' to people about adoption and engagement etc is some kind of way of reassuring himself it's all real and actually happening? rather than keeping it to him and Syed, in their bubble, where it could seem less than real. Trying to make excuses for him I guess?! The desparate need for a child still needs proper exploring I reckon, but I am guessing it stems from the ticking clock of getting older, and also the contentment of finding the one and wanting to create a family unit, specially when his other half has been cast out of how own family. Wouldnt hurt EE to spell this out though as to the casual viewer I bet they are well confused over the yo-yoing of both boys these last few months.

Syed is even more of an enigma. At least Christian has his heart on his sleeve and, sometimes clumsily, occasionally without thinking, says what he wants. Syed is more of a closed book. I still hope he wants the adoptin-I loved the scene on the bed where he seems so down about it after the meeting. When he mentioned 'our kid' in the proposal episode I was very happy, and standing up to Zainab in the street too-all suggest he does want a child. So why the weird looks? I can only guess that he fears his past will wreck their chances of adoption. I mean they may raise an eyebrow at Christian's colourful past relationship history and misfortune in keeping getting beaten up, but I think, if analysed properly, adoption people would question the fact Syed stole from his family, tried suicide and therapy and was married Poor poor Syed. He must feel so sad/guilty/reposnsible coz he knows how much Christian wants it. Will they address any of these? At the moment they are focussing on sensible place to live and family on side as these are things they can (try to) change. Their histories they cannot rewrite. Maybe Syed is 'hoping' they fail at these stages rather than it get further and he has his past raked up again.

I dunno. I just wish we got more screentime, always. And I wish they'd give us just a wee bit more insight to whats going on rather than leaving us guessing or over analysing. They makiing up cuddles are very cute but I wish we saw them talk more.

Anyway, just had to get that off my chest. Apologies if am just rehashing what everyone else has already said/thought. I miss sharing with you guys.

PPS Doubt I'll get online again, so Happy 2nd 1st kiss anniversary for tomorrow. 2 years since it all began! Wow
