Any evidence?
The fact that she was crap at the beauty task. The fact that she is naive and often stupid. The fact that she is so meek. I could go on |

I wouldn't bother until you learn the difference between a 'fact' and an 'opinion'.

Hmmm.
I wouldn't bother until you learn the difference between a 'fact' and an 'opinion'. The key word is I have a feeling. Where you get fact from that is anyones guess. It is obvious that you do not understand what a fact is. have you considered a career in beauty? |

The key word is I have a feeling. Where you get fact from that is anyones guess. Only the line where you were stating your opinions as facts.

Body Shop started by one woman as one shop in Brighton, but now covers the world, worth £150 million? Apparently the beauty business is not to be scoffed at, even by LS with his £700 million allegedly.

Just the fact that she does not strike me as someone who started her own business, she strikes me as a bit of a mummy and daddies girl.
The fact that she was crap at the beauty task. The fact that she is naive and often stupid. The fact that she is so meek. I could go on I don't think her father is in the picture, and her mum doesn't seem very well off as Susan paid her own university fees and helped her mother pay off her mortgage. http://www.susanma.com/page/my-life She never even mentions her father... |

Well spotted! Not sure one single line exactly three years ago, and apparently nothing in the press since is something to be that excited about to be honest!
I think you all forget that she started a company while in FULL TIME EDUCATION. Those of you putting her down need to seriously cut some slack. If all the young kids started businesses like her, we wouldn't be in this economic state that we're in now. |

I'm not particularly a Susan fan, but after Jim's little nefarious doings last episode I was rooting for her in the boardroom. |

And on the subject of pitching, she point blank refused to do it, so why did she pretend she put herself forward?
The others were right, she changes history in the boardroom (which has now become a Nick/Susan love-in!) The others clearly accepted, grudgingly, that Susan did offer to do the pitch, albeit in a half-hearted manner. They'd never have done so if it wasn't true. As for Nick, I was disappointed that he didn't call the rest of the team out more on their lies. While he did contradict Jim when he suggested that Susan didn't push the idea of negotiating on price (if this is what you call a love-in, please get a sense of proportion), we didn't see him challenge them on their assertion that Susan didn't express her dislike for the name. Maybe he did so and they edited it out, but I wish we'd seen him say something. |

You seem to miss the many things that Susan does right. She's one of the few that really gets involved in the tasks.

She probably took a break to do her university degree, and so didn't have much time to do marketing. She even states that she was overwhelmed on her website.

Starting a business whilst in full time education is a silly and immature thing to do. This is the reason so many businesses go to the wall.
When you are at university it is important to have non study related activities. There is no reason why spending a few hours a week starting a small business should not be as beneficial as hours spent in the bar/at concerts/hanging out. The trick is to find something that you can keep going with the limited time available. |

"spending a few hours a week starting a small business"
If you are not trying to support yourself from the earnings there is no reason why you cannot do just that. When I was in university one of my house mates bought a large quantity of amplifier circuit boards and spent a few hours each week turning them into Hi-Fi amplifiers which he sold through a magazine. By the time he'd finished his course he easily had enough to put a good deposit on his first house. |

And how is starting a business so she can afford to pay for her way through uni silly and immature? You really need to grow up. People like you make me angry. Why do people take time to take digs at a young entrepreneur trying to make something of their lives? I'm always encouraging my kids to be entrepreneurial and get jobs so they can grow up and be more mature. |

She's in the media eye, if she lies about any of that, it would have been caught out by now. She had those claims when she went onto the apprentice and they've done all their background checks on her to allow her into the process. Stop being so naive.

She also calls her self the managing director. Which other directors does she manage and what staff do the directors oversee? |

There are quite a few young entrepreneurs out there building online busineses and using their part-time earnings to fund their education. |
