he seems to have worked a mind trick on Lord Sugar as he has now seen a glimmer of something in him.

He hears the producer whispering in Loralun's ear to keep Jim in.

He's a snake who is happy to claim that others won't for example do a pitch but in reality is determined to shout others down just so he can claim credit for doing the pitch that he always intended to do. He's not a team player and I suspect he'll come unstuck before the final like Liz did last year.

He showed his true colours tonight...none of the others resorted to personal attacks in the boardroom...

I was completely shocked that Jim was not fired. He must be using some of mind control in order to stay. I was so sure that he would go, especially after Vincent's reluctancy to bring him into the boardroom. There tends to be Teflon Don every year - Stuart last year, Michael Sophocles, that awful Katie woman and Paul from S1.

Jim is actually good at business unlike the others you have listed from other series.

That may be so, however he appears to be letting his ego and dirty game playing get in the way.

Im starting to think he is the one who is more style over substance! He certainly talks the talk in a text book way but im not sure he has the other qualities required to back it up

it seems as thought Jim has to get everyone to agree to something before he'll make a decision, then he can say that it was a group decision. I'm not sure that would really be the kind of business partner anyone would want. Surely the guy in charge should be able to make decisions on his own, even if unpopular (see their light???)

I have liked Jim from day 1. Found myself last night going please stop messing up Jim can't believe he wasn't fired and really hope he does well .

he's got to up his substance now - too many time in the boardroom plus one lucky escape - his card is marked (even if the show would be poorer without him).
