I don't think that was a valid reason to fire Glenn

It's Sugar's money. He can pick anyone for any reason. I don't see the point of the outrage.
As shareholders/licence fee payers, we can comment any way we see fit.

In other words, without us, there's no programme and therefore no 'free' publicity for Sugar - capiche?

Just because he was an engineer was an appalling reason to fire Glenn. Sugar is full of contradictions . On other Apprentices he says he doesn't want salespeople or accountants and now engineers . I mean how many professions is he opposed too.

Jim was totally responsible for the failure of this task and should have gone.

Granted, Glenn hadn't really been the strongest candidate recently, but I still saw potential. It was a pathetic excuse that he was back in the boardroom, let alone fired.

I'm genuinely surprised, and slightly appauled, that Jim didn't go after the way he spoke to Nick (and to a lesser degree, the way he spoke to Karen). Surely he can't last much longer in the process, particularly if he keeps this attitude of sorts up?

At this point Jim is following in the ignominious line of people who were kept in the process long past their sell by date.

Wotherspoon, Sophocles, Pantsman, Baggs, and now Jim.

Either Sugar is very easily taken in by certain rather brash people or he is not being entirely honest when he says he doesn't keep people in because they make good TV.

Glenn's sacking on The Apprentice gets revised to something different on You're Fired's clip of it. The only thing they have in common is Glenn was fired because he was an engineer.
We see two version's of LS's preamble to firing him.

As a concept I thought it was very good and it could have worked out really well if Zoe's idea had been followed through.

What Jim made of it is what made it bad.
'Hip Replacement' no matter what font you use is a terrible title for a magazine aimed at the over 60s. I agree that Jim was responsible for the horrible look of it.

I thought Jim showed his true colours in the boardroom. I'm surprised any of them are still speaking to him!
