I can't wait to see Tom as project leader- I love him but don't feel like I've really seen whether he's made of sterner stuff yet.
Exactly how I feel about Tom. He is now the only candidate that hasn't been PM yet, so, I predict next week he'll get chosen by Lord Sug to head whichever team and that will be his golden opportunity to show us what he's made of!

As PM he won't have any excuses then to say that he wasn't heard or his opinions overlooked either because he will be the one with the last and final say on all the decisions. On the Paris preview he did't even seem to be saying Bonjour properly by the looks of it!? lol.

Tom does absolutely nothing but object to something in every task. He's nothing but an errand boy in most of the tasks so far.

Couldn't stop laughing when before one of the pitches, he was the last to walk in and he walked in with his chest out like some proud lion who knew he was better than everyone else.

He isn't.

Ridiculous thread, they weren't hiding at all this week, they were completely in the right with everything they said as backed up by the advertisers. But it's obvious DUNDEEBOY fancies Natasha and isn't gong to be rational about this.

I think Tom has good business sense in that he often makes valid points that prove to be right in the end, but like Susan he's not really listened to. I think he either needs to put his head above the parapet and show a little more backbone about his POV or prove himself as a good leader as PM. Either way, he needs to do it soon to still be in the running.

People can say what they want about Jim but at least he gets involved. He puts himself out there. Too many are hiding.

But as Nick has indicated, Jim is also hiding, but in a different way. He gathers human shields around him and then passes the buck in the boardroom.

I think you need to realise: Not being a gobby control freak is not the same as 'hiding'.

People who get on with the jobs they are assigned and do not cock up in amusing ways often don't appear on the edits. That does not mean they are 'hiding'. It just means they are capable and efficient.

But as Nick has indicated, Jim is also hiding, but in a different way. He gathers human shields around him and then passes the buck in the boardroom.

Yes, Jim's talent is 'hiding in plain view'. Unfortunately for him he started using it too soon and used it too often and everyone is wise to him now.

I disagree. Jim was actually doing really well for 2-3 weeks. Needs to up it again but he is still in the process and is contributing. Too many people aren't contributing to the tasks.

Susie was the perfect example, she is Bambi.

Yes, you are absolutely correct.

Oh, wait ...

Except for being the only one who thought the name was poor (with which virtually everyone outside the team seemed to agree).

Except for being the only one to tell Jim that his pricing strategy was all wrong.

Except for telling Glen that they should be using the more active shots rather than the 'knitting pattern' one.

But, ignoring those three points, she contributed very little apart from the photography and focus group work.

Its very easy whispering these things or even thinking them but you are in a competition, you need to make yourself heard. She doesn't do that.

Its the same with a few others too. Its probably a radar thing, see it many reality tv shows. Just get to a certain amount of episodes/weeks and then come into your own.

Except that she did.

It was clearly shown on the edit we saw.

She made the points very clearly and they showed he disagreement with Glen on the photo selection in some detail.

She's been on the winning team every week - including PM. So she's has had little airtime.
Could be her downfall tnough - Paul Tulip was never in the boardroom so Shugga fired him as "I don't know anything about you"
Does rather underline what a contrived process this is - even though I love it

I think both Tom and Helen will be in the final 4. I think alongside Susan and Melody.

I thought Jim was a very strong contender at the beginning but it's quite clear that Suralun is getting pretty sick of him. I liked him at first but he really is slippery. In the dog food task he thought of the name, and when it came under scrutiny he blamed the PM for endorsing it. This week, Zoe thought of the name and as PM he endorsed it... but blamed Zoe for picking a rubbish name.

They are not hiding; they are being hidden by the editors.

If you had a list of the classic 'Sugar telling the world he's a plonker' quotes, this type of comment would have to top the list.

He has the CV's, the intelligence from Nick and Margaret/Karen and other members of the production team and he has the power to ensure someone works with or against any other candidate and can make anyone PM at any time. He can ask them anything he likes at any time in the initial boardroom.

To then say: 'I don't know anything about you' as that's their fault is so lame I'm amazed he's so thick skinned he doesn't realise what a fool he looks.

Tom and Helen are more like advisors, going into business with them I think would be like going into business with a computer.
I like to see a bit of life and fire in candidates, I'm hoping for Susan, Melody or Natasha reaching the final.

I consider Paul the best candidate that I have ever seen ( I havent seen every series). He always had really bright ideas. But LS advisers didnt like him and LS had to get rid of him. It was a very lame excuse but LS was in a very tight corner.

Paul was the ultimate blagger, Baggs was a mere child compared to him.
