It seems my cat Simba has taken over my bed, and I'm all squished!

How cute, and (s)he looks so peaceful. Cats are masters at getting the bed. I often wake up to find I am pushed right to the edge, with the cats stretched out in the middle - they're not stupid are they?

I get this with my cat. Only she likes sleeping on my pillow. Those nights are uncomfortable...........

I used to get this with our cat. I would wake up in the morning to find I was practically hanging out of the bed with the cat stretched across it. He was a pain. He would sit outside my door at night howling to be let in and then early in the morning he would howl to be let back out again. As other people were in the house I didn't really want to sleep with the door open but he kept me warm in winter!

He looks a lovely cat Beth.

Oh for goodness sakes! Can you not see the small strip of bed on the right hand side of the first picture? That is where you are supposed to sleep. It has to be tiny, you have to lie uncomfortably and you are not allowed to move.

And there's always the floor. Plenty of room there for us slaves.

So true

Mine has to lie right against by leg nearest to him, so if I move my leg he moans

One of my boys does that too! I have a Kingsize bed with only me in it but he has to lie right up next to me. If I try and move over to the other side he moans and claws me then follows me there!

She looks like my Rolo's twin.

Mine have a tendancy to go out of their way to be totally awkward. One normally sleeps near my feet on the left hand side, whilst the other has recently taken to sleeping at my waist height on the right hand side but spralls out everywhere. With both of mine being Ragdolls they take up quite a lot of room, so I guess it's fortunate that it's just me that has to try and squash in with them!

Awww your cat is very cute ...We are lucky with our cat (Thomas) he doesn't really like laying on the bed when we are in it and hardly gets to when we are not (as the door is closed most of the time) But when he was very little he used to lie in the small gap in between mine and my OH's pillows or go under the duvet cover even though he had a bed of his own

Pics of when he was tiny when he slept in between the pillows, none of him actually sleeping on our bed though, I thought I did have some oh well, have to take some more now that he is a big boy but he doesn't stay still long enough! Love him

Cats and dogs should be downstairs at night and not in bedrooms.
