Alex Wotherspoon, IIRC.

Although it looked more as if he was trying to chew his way through the side of his mouth rather than pout.

I believe he was 24 at the time.

She said something similar.
"I'm a young girl, no-one listens to me."

Yes, but were you taught by the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and Al Gore?

And, come to that, can you do a reverse pterodactyl?

All that falls into the shadows considering my rainbow of skills

No one brings ignorance to the table like I do.

Who are you? You're aussie_dave, silly. Just look at your profile box to the left of your post and you'll see your name.

I suspect the underlying idea is that The Apprentice gathers together 14 persons of all ages, sizes and heights. Some believe that allowance should be made for those underprivileged in one way or another, i.e. a system of performance handicapping based on the standard at entry, i.e. not a free-for-all.

LS will have none of it, as he took on all comers at age 17 and beat them all. I notice that Susan was not shy in flaunting her sole trader track record as an unequal advantage, i.e. those without her advantage can lump it.

Being shorter than the rest isn't her fault - she did nothing to be that way.

Being younger than the rest isn't her fault - she did nothing to be that way.

Starting a successful business was down to her. That is something that she has done that a lot of the others haven't.

Dismissing someone simply for being short or young is ridiculous (unless there is some reason why you need years of experience for a post).

Accounting for the fact that someone has already successfully done something that is similar to what you are looking to do with them is basic common sense.

One thing I really liked about Liz, she was 24 but you never heard her reach for that as an excuse.
