Being shorter than the rest isn't her fault - she did nothing to be that way.
Being younger than the rest isn't her fault - she did nothing to be that way.
Starting a successful business
was down to her. That is something that she has done that a lot of the others haven't.
Dismissing someone simply for being short or young is ridiculous (unless there is some reason why you need years of experience for a post).
Accounting for the fact that someone has already successfully done something that is similar to what you are looking to do with them is basic common sense.
