Nick and Karen: puppets?
On Your Fired, Nick was alone on the panel, and virtually in the room, in saying that LAS made the right decision in getting rid of Glenn. By my recollection Nick and Karen (and Margaret) ALWAYS say that LAS got it right. Does anyone recall whether they have ever said that he got a decision wrong?
Perhaps they are contractually obliged to support him, but I really wish that they had the cojones to say that they disagree (which sometimes they must do).

One time in a past series nick told LS that he fired the wrong person straight after the boardroom. I can't for the life of me remember when that was though

It's a two way thing.
Apart form not 'supporting the boss' there is also the fact that if they explicitly lessens their perceived importance as 'trusted advisers'. I'm pretty certain that Nick would have preferred to see Jim go. |

I remember Margaret disagreeing with Lord Sugar's decision once when she was on the panel on YF. Can't remember who the candidate was though.
