'Being an English Lit student, I’m very good at reading between the lines and thinking outside of the box, but for me business is all about keeping things simple. My mantra for business is “play to your strengths”, and that’s exactly what I plan to do in this competition. I have the skills to fall back on and I’m above the game playing, bravado and backstabbing I some of the other contestants will undoubtedly try to use to succeed in this competition. Everything I do, I do to an incredibly high standard, and my calmness, honesty, confidence and competence set me apart from the others.'

'Hello, my name is Seth and I am a 25 year old primary school teacher, with the ultimate intention of becoming a headteacher. I decided to become a teacher as I do relaly like working with children, and the opportunity to help them learn and grow as a person really appealed to me, as it felt like I would actually be making a positive different to their lives. My ultimate intention is to be a headteacher at a primary school, but I am working up the ranks until then. The estimated time it would take to get to the position would be roughly ten years, so until then I am enjoying teaching and gaining experience with the children. As for my skills, I would say that a strong point would definitely be communication skills, as working in a school you really need to be able to communicate with other staff and pupils effectively. I am a very opinionated person, who will not back down if I believe to be in the right, but if I am proved wrong then I would definitely accept that and move on. So my strongest points would definitely be 'people' skills. I studied at Durham University to recieve a degree in english, and I got all A's in the four A Levels that I studied; English Language, English Literature, Psychology and Economics. These subjects worked well together, and really taught me a lot of my communication skills and how to handle myself in debates etc. I think I could be the ideal Apprentice because I feel at ease handling people, but at the same time I adapt quite easily to the more business side of things.'

I am extremely ambitious and I know I can thrive in this industry, due to the sheer focus and mentality I have... I will work in a team in order to further myself in the show, but it won't be by choice that is for certain. I'm going all the way to the business bank and none of you will be laughing at the end of it.

So teams, now you have to come up with a team name, and choose a Project Manager for the first task, which will be announced soon.
Project Managers will obviously be running the task, but MUST also PM whichever one of Peter or UtdGirl is following the task with updates at least once a day on what has been happening etc, other candidates are free to PM them too should they feel necessary (i.e.: want to make sure their opinion is known for the boardroom)

This task does just that. Each team has to come up with an original idea for a reality forum type DS Game which we have not seen before. It can take the form of any reality show; X Factor, Strictly etc, and can take the form of more than one. The show must have a clear concept of what it involved, what twists it could possibly have, and a clear logo for the show.
Each team must provide this logo, a descrption and pitch for selling the show; and provide a mock run up of how a typical show would run; making sure it is viable, original and fun is key, without this, selling this show will be impossible.
Tomorrow, at 6PM, Each team be given a thread where they can show the logo in the thread; provide the pitch and descrption and mock up read, and then forum members will have 24 hours to PM me telling me which concept they prefer and would rather see on thre forums. Simply, the team who gets the most votes win, and in the team that doesn't, one of you will get fired.
