Hi, sorry to be a pain, but have always had Samsung phones before...no probs..
Just got Nokia X3 on 02...Ring tones and text alert tones are rubbish so bought one..
Ok I am a saddo....wanted BB theme tune as either text alert or ring tone bought it from "mobile fun"...( have bought from there before with no probs...)

I got the tone...(£4.50!!) ..but it went to my mp3 player...how the heck do I add to my ring or text tones?? ( I bought it as a ring tone) ...any help appreciated...a nd NO!! No help in user guide that comes with phone!!! May not be on for 2 days...but if you can help will you explain in simple words??!!

It doesn't just 'go' to the music player. Its also in the gallery, from where you can press Options and use it as the ringtone. Or you can use Profiles to set it as a tone (if you want different tones for each profile) or go to settings and use the personalisation options.

Visit zedge to get tones free and for music just download off Amazon or whatever for 79p a track!

Erm...what? First of all if we even take the phone into account it's £80, leaving that little fact out though how do you jutsify that big bold sentence?

I'm talking about paying £4.50 for a ringtone, hence why I said visit zedge for free sounds and buy normal mp3s at 79p!

Thanks everyone....my daughter eventually managed to do it...but it is not in gallery at all....weird!
