My desire, despite having everything possible moved to the SD card has run out of internal memory. So now cannot even update apps on the phone itself.

Sometimes you have to delete apps.

Really I never thought of that.

All apps I have downloaded myself are on the SD card. Its things like maps and flash player that now won't update, what's the point of having them if you can't update them!

Clear your caches (e.g. internet, Facebook) - go to Settings - Applications - Manage Applications - All. Press Menu. Tap Sort By Size. Tap the biggest & see if "Clear data" and / or "Clear cache" are available - if so, and the reading is a decent size, clear it. Be careful with "Internet" though - clearing the data will delete your bookmarks.

I just delete the ones that I don't need. Too many apps cause so many hassles.

I don't as yet use app2SD as have never filled the memory.
