She's exactly what the show needs.

Plus, she needs to find the water...

I agree I did love Manda and was excited when I heard Josie Lawrence was joining EE, sadly she was paired with Minty Bad move.

Sorry but I completly disagree she really didn't add anything interesting to the show for me!!!
All i can basicaly remember about her was that she was creepy Adam's mum and that she had a bike.
Plus to make it worse she was around Minty and Gary too much (EE sad attempt at a comedy duo)

Lumping her with Minty and giving her a pompous a**ehole of a son didn't help her, but I'd love her back. As long as she brings the tragic news of Adam's death with her.

Randomly I put on an old videotape of Letterland for my niece a few weeks back and noticed it was Josie Lawrence who narrated it lol

Can someone explain the water situation? I vaguely remember it but really have no idea what it means.

Yes she could be Lola's biological mother, while Mandy Salter could be Ian's biological daughter

Interesting character, but ruined by the shows desperation to link her to Phil Mitchell.

A nice kooky girlfriend for Minty would've been enough for the character. Instead they had to make it all about Phil.

Completely forgot she was Adam's Mum.

She was okay at first but they suddenly decided to stop developing her and just like that the traffic light got stuck on red. And then they decided to pile some misery on her, forgetting that initially she was a relatively refreshing and upbeat character which is a nice rarity in Walford... and then they truly sealed her fate when they gave her the sort of son you'd sell on the black market for cash just to be rid of.

I suppose she could come back, she just wasn't used to her full potential last time - she gave EastEnders a much needed comedy edge, and Josie Lawrence is cracking!

It would be too risky incase of a return for Adam.

She could return after hearing about Adam's death. Get a cheap flat, grieve for a couple months, then start taking Mandy Salter under her wing. Jean badly needs a friend to help and fuss over and they could make a great duo. helping each other when Jean has a bad day, or Manda tinks about Adam.
