Everything in the garden should be rosy. Inwardly, he’s thinking, ‘I’ll get married and it will all be fine. She went off with Peter, I went off with Kylie – it’s not great but once we’re married, it’ll be OK and surely no one will find out’. After all, Kylie has as much to lose as Nick.

A part of him would like to push Leanne aside and move on, though. If it hadn’t been for the situation with Kylie, that’s what he would have done. They tried again but again it didn’t work out, so someone is trying to tell them something.

But does Nick still love Leanne?

He does, but it has been tarnished again by her doubts and feelings for Peter.

All of which leads to another punch-up between Nick and Peter. Tell us about this latest fracas…

It all happens when Nick pays a visit to the bookies. Peter knows Leanne has asked Nick to marry him, so he just winds Nick up. Normally Nick’s quite good at ignoring it, but he can’t this time and he just smacks him! They have a massive fight with Kevin and David getting involved.

Of course, I'd forgotten that. Wonder how they'll explain that away, if it's a rare case of pregnancy while on the pill (it can happen) are we in for a long drawn out 'Who's the daddy ' story?

Exactly. She would have had to not only forget it, but it would also have had to be one of only a couple of days a month when she could get pregnant anyway. And missing one pill does not make you immediately uber-fertile.

I think Kylie might have an abortion. She won't know if it's Nick's or David's and she definitely doesn't want a baby anyway, so why have it?

If Gail helps Kylie out, she had better keep away from the top of the stairs when David finds out.

I agree, I can't see her as the type that couldn't not go through with it; she did sell her firstborn and is adamant she doesn't want one.

That's two inconsisitencies: one that she wojld get pregnant in the first place whilst on the pill and two that she would keep it

I suppose David could somehow find out, rally against her and she discloses it might not have been his.

EDIT: Actually, if she went to the doctors for the abortion, wouldn't social services be notified after what happened with Max?
