Poor Tyrone. What will be (hopefully) interesting to watch, and classic of so many soap/life storylines is the involvement of outsiders, who heard something and now that this accusation is revealed, immediately marry the two together and perhaps create a partially false memory.

Watching Hayley pushing Roy to get closer to Mary in the last couple of episodes, I wondered if she's going to be written out as suffering from some disease which she's found out about now , so is looking out for him not to be left alone when she's dies.

I think Lewis is going to find out about Kylie and Nick sleeping together. He kept a very low profile tonight but I think he suspects something. He will then drop this bombshell - probably to drippy Gail - and rip the family even further apart so he can well & truly take Gail for all she's got.
That's my theory anyway.

Monday 21 January 2013 It's the morning of the wedding and Tyrone feels a mixture of relief and panic over what he's about to do, feeling terrible knowing the marriage is a sham. Needing to be married to Kirsty so he can ensure parental rights over Ruby he heads to the church, despite the fact that he's in love with Fiz. As Tyrone waits at the church he starts to panic, fearing Kirsty has discovered all. It's also Kirsty's big day, despite her abusive nature she insists she loves Tyrone and wants to be his wife. When she arrives looking a million dollars it looks like his plan has worked. But as the main event approaches will Kirsty smell a rat? Gail helps Nick out at the bistro but when Lewis tampers with the order and alters the amount of olives needed, how will Nick react to her 'mistake'? Faye's been acting strangely. She feigns illness so she doesn't have to go to school but Anna then catches her trying to sneak out of the house. What is Faye up to? Jenna's in turmoil as she faces losing her job over her kiss with Sophie. Sally assures Sophie she believes her story not Jenna's. When Rob and Tracy both climb into Steve's taxi insisting it's theirs neither will back down. Have they met their match? Monday 21 January 2013 Kirsty and Tyrone return home to discuss their future life together. Tyrone's visibly frightened as Kirsty makes it plain she wants retribution for his actions. But did his plan work? Did the wedding go ahead, giving Tyrone parental rights over Ruby? Gail's stunned when Lewis tells her he loves her and he'd like her to move to Naples with him where they could run a small boutique hotel. When Anna discovers Faye missing she looks through Faye's computer and is horrified to realise she's gone to meet a man called Tim who she's been speaking to on the internet.. Who is he? Having convinced her family that Sophie instigated the kiss, and she isn't gay, Sophie's public enemy number one. Mandy's fuming when Sally tells her to keep Jenna away from Sophie in future. Rob admires Tracy's cheek. Wednesday 23 January 2013 Kirsty's raging as she realises Tyrone was only marrying her to get custody of Ruby. Tyrone attempts to stand up to Kirsty, calling her a vindictive bully. As she pours her heart out about her violent upbringing Tyrone's sympathetic but when she goes to take Ruby a row breaks out on the stairs. Kirsty tries to hit Tyrone but loses her balance and falls. She's rushed to hospital where Kirsty devises a callous plan to use her accident to her advantage. Tyrone's horrified as the police come calling. Friday 25 January 2013 Locked in a police cell, Tyrone's beside himself and desperate to see Ruby. Kirsty makes a statement to the police, accusing Tyrone of being a dangerous and violent bully. But as the police question the couple's friends on the street where will they point the finger? Fearing for her safety Anna and Owen confront the pair. But when Tim reveals his true identity, and Faye makes it clear she has no plans to stop seeing him, Anna's shellshocked. She's desperate to protect her daughter but could she be about to lose her because when Anna tries to lay the law down to Faye to stop her from seeing her dad, Faye goes AWOL. Feeling terrible about Jenna being suspended, Sophie tells her she's going to inform her boss that she instigated the kiss whilst Jenna was entirely innocent so she can keep her job. Jenna's thrown by her compassion. Will Jenna come clean about her true feelings?. Lewis does his worst as he attempts to drive a wedge between Gail and Nick. Moving in for the kill he reiterates his offer of a new life in Italy. Will gullible Gail agree? Friday 25 January 2013 Tyrone continues to protest his innocence and lists all the injuries Kirsty has inflicted upon him over the months. Tina and Tommy visit the station to make a statement. But will the police accept his version of events? When Tim drops Faye at home, Anna lays the law down and sends him packing, telling him he's not welcome in Faye's life. Faye's furious. Jenna's touched at Sophie offering to lie for her. But as she pours her heart out to Lloyd, admitting she's gay and does have feelings for Sophie, will she realise she can't let Sophie take the fall? Having sold his Italian dream to Gail, Lewis lies to Gail telling her the Italian hotel job is still available but they'd have to find some money for accommodation which now no longer comes with the job. As Gail swoons will she agree to part with her cash? How will Gail react to this? |

I'm still sure he'd have parental rights over Ruby just because he married her mum. Wouldn't the situation be exactly the same, legally, as David and Max?

Fingers crossed that with this, the fireman will go:

No, there is no proof that Tirrone is the baby's father. To have any parental rights, he would have had to adopt the child. David did adopt Max.

I think Tyrone would have been better doing a paternity test behind Kirsty's back. In his shoes, I think I would do that and then take her to court. Even if marrying Kirsty gives him parental rights, wouldn't he still have to take Kirsty to court if she refused to let him see Ruby or denied she was his? Tyrone has made it clear that he doesn't intend on staying with Kirsty after they are married but she could still take Ruby if Tyrone breaks up with her after the wedding. So the chances are they would still end up in court. I'm aware that he would have parental rights after marrying Kirsty but he knows too well how calculative Kirsty can be and how she can twist things to make herself look like the victim so it's strange that he has complicated things further by having an affair; knowing exactly what his soon to be wife is capable of and more to the point, what she would do if she knew he'd been sleeping with Fizz. But if Tyrone had done a DNA test instead of proposing to Kirsty/marrying her (at the same time jeopardizing everything by having an affair) at least he would have that proof that Ruby is his daughter, meaning he has rights as her father.

If marrying Kirsty doesn't give Tyrone parental rights over Ruby. Surely Leanne doesn't have any rights over Simon as she never adopted him

Spoilers sound great. Really looking forward to see what Lewis does, he's been a great addition to the show although this does sound like it could be the end of him, depending on whether his actions cause such upset for the Platt's.

Hard to see how he can stay when it all comes out though. I can't see even desperate Aud forgiving him this time.

Natalie Gumede has been talking about the shock development in an upcoming episode that sees Kirsty accusing Tyrone (Alan Halsall) of domestic violence: “I think something has really died inside of Kirsty,” the actress said at a screening in London of next Monday’s two wedding day episodes. “Tyrone was the love of her life and that’s the one piece of happiness she thought she had. And I think throughout their relationship, despite all of her mistakes, he has at least appeared to forgive her. So I think she thought she had a new start and her world has fallen apart.” Gumede was referencing a scene in which Kirsty, who has for months subjected Tyrone to physical abuse, finds out that her partner has been having a secret affair with Fiz (Jennie McAlpine). |

Monday 28 January 2013 Audrey's fed up with her family being at war and asks Gail, David and Nick to meet her in the pub to sort out their differences. But when Gail fails to show, in favour of a smooch Lewis, the family realise they've been stood up and head round to the Platts. Jenna's been in turmoil ever since her ill-fated kiss with Sophie. Jenna psyches herself up for her tribunal, is she ready to admit her sexuality to the world and tell the truth about her kiss with Sophie, her patient? She's desperate to hold onto her job and with Sophie offering to lie for her in a bid to help save her career will Jenna take the easy way out? Gossip is rife on the street as Tyrone and Kirsty stick to their stories. Having been accused of domestic violence by his abusive ex Kirsty, Tyrone is desperate to clear his name, not least so he can fight for access to their daughter Ruby. Tracy's furious when she receives a divorce petition through the post from Steve. Faye's angry when Anna bans her from using the internet, worried she'll use it to contact Tim. Monday 28 January 2013 When Gail's family discovers her affair they're horrified, Audrey feels like she's been stabbed in the back by her daughter, devastated as Lewis explains how he and Gail are in love. Gail tries to justify their relationship but Audrey's disgusted. Realising she's wasting her time, Gail resolves to borrow some money against her house and live the dream in Italy with Lewis. Jenna hears the result of her tribunal, will it be the news she's hoping for? Tyrone is slightly cheered when his solicitor informs him he can arrange a supervised visit to see Ruby. When Tracy arrives in the pub dressed to kill and hands Steve the divorce papers, Rob's amused. When Tracy Barlow came into Rob Donovan's orbit he soon saw something in her, probably a bit of himself! Intrigued by the feisty femme fatale Rob decides he's man enough to take Tracy on. Calling at no.1 he asks Tracy out on a date. Will she agree? Anna's at the end of her tether with Faye. Wednesday 30 January 2013 His scam now in motion, Lewis secretly prints off Gail's bank details from the bistro computer. When Kylie and Nick enter the office, he's forced to hide. As Kylie assures Nick his secret is safe, Lewis is stunned to hear Nick could be the father of her baby. His brain in overdrive what will Lewis do with this information? Sophie and Jenna have a heart to heart. Tyrone's thrilled when he gets a call to tell him Kirsty's agreed to let him see Ruby. Tracy tells Rob she'll accept his offer of a date. Over lunch at the Bistro she dares him to give her a job, how will Rob respond? Will Tracy get her wicked way or will Carla come between the scheming minx and her new beau? Owen and Anna forbid Faye from seeing dad Tim. Friday 1 February 2013 Lewis blackmails Kylie. He promises her sordid secret is safe if in return she gets him Gail's bank account log-in and password. Kylie's sickened. With Lewis about to wreak his revenge on all those who ever wronged him, Kylie's caught in the crossfire. She'll have to make an impossible decision which could either save her own skin or blow the whole Platt family apart! As Gail gathers her family together to announce her Italian plans, revealing she's borrowed 40K against the house, Lewis is nowhere to be seen. Will Kylie succumb to Lewis' blackmail? Tyrone and Fiz wait nervously in the Children's Centre for the social worker to arrive with Ruby. Will Tyrone be reunited with his daughter? Sylvia arrives back from America unannounced. What's the reason for her visit? Sophie and Jenna head out for a meal, could their relationship have a future? Tracy turns up to start work in the factory but Carla's quick to override Rob's decision and sends her packing. Will Rob be able to persuade Carla to interview Tracy? Friday 1 February 2013 Gail's devastated as she learns the true extent of Lewis' feelings for her. Her Italian dream crushed, Gail calls the bank, has she lost everything? Tyrone accosts Kirsty in the street and tries to take Ruby from her pram. Kirsty's showing no signs of backing down and after months of suffering at the hands of callous Kirsty has Tyrone got any fight left in him? When Sylvia opens a trunk, sent by Milton, she's worried to find all her belongings packed inside. Sophie and Jenna enjoy a dinner date at the Bistro, despite Mandy's disapproving glare. Carla reluctantly interviews Tracy, will she agree to offer her a job? |

After yesterday's episodes I think Rob and Tracy could be very fun. I've liked Rob, but in the cab with Tracy he was acting on a whole different level. It was really fun to watch. The actors have good chemistry.
