I can only assume Gloria is brought up to speed with the events that happened at Christmas to Leanne, and deciding its peters fault, when they all conveniently see each other whilst respectively having a meal at the bistro she goes off on one.

Eric presses Eva for an answer to his proposition, she's undecided, but after a hellish day at work will Eva accept Eric's offer to travel round the world with him?

Gail's in turmoil when David brings Kylie home from hospital. Nick begs her not to dwell on it but Gail can't resist having a dig at Kylie. When David overhears them rowing, he demands to know what's going on. A defiant Gail challenges Kylie to tell him the truth.

Chesney's angry when hung-over Katy admits she spent £50 on her night out. Katy is cheered when Ryan thanks her for getting him his first DJ gig.

Jason and Tim set off to Leeds on a job. Faye's disappointed she won't see her dad for a week but Anna and Owen are quietly relieved. Jenna warns Lloyd that Mandy's preparing to take Flash out of hibernation, will Lloyd come clean about her pet's demise.

Stella's outraged that Eva's considering running off with Gloria's ancient fiance. But Eva takes umbrage, opening up about how unhappy she is in Weatherfield. Stella softens, reassuring Eva and begging her not to go with Eric. Eva prepares to let Eric down gently but is horrified to find he has died in the Rovers bar!

With Nick's eyes burning into her, Gail loses her bottle and blusters that Kylie doesn't want the baby. A row escalates and when Gail refuses to apologise, David orders her out. After confiding in Sally, will a devastated Gail leave or will she decide it's time David knew the truth?

Ryan asks Katy to work with him in the kebab shop. Intrigued, she agrees to an interview with Dev, who offers her the job. Katy's delighted but how will Chesney react to her news?

Anna's cross to find Faye having a video conversation with Tim on her laptop. Lloyd lies to Mandy, saying he found Flash dead in his box and has had him cremated.

Ryan's flirtatious as Katy starts work at the kebab shop, suggesting they have a drink when they finish. Katy's exhilarated by the hustle and bustle of work. Ryan showers her with compliments then moves in for a kiss.

Eva's sceptical of her gran's grief. Gloria contacts Eric's solicitor to ask about his will. Eva insists on accompanying her to the funeral parlour, disgusted that she plans to use his money to splash out on a lavish funeral

Kylie encourages David to make the first move with Gail. He calls at the Websters, apologising and asking her to return home.

Fiz is pleased that Tyrone's changed his mind and wants her to visit him in prison. But he tells her to forget about him and move on with her life. Mandy takes Flash's run to the tip but discovers more than she bargained for there!

Katy finds it awkward around Ryan following their kiss as he asks her to cover his shift. Chesney's annoyed to find she's dumped Joseph on Anna and storms round to the kebab shop where Ryan is thanking Katy.

Gloria's excited when Eric's solicitor calls at the pub to discuss his will. But when he arrives with a woman called Doris in tow, it appears Eric may not have been everything he seemed.

Mandy enjoys making Lloyd squirm as they scatter Flash's 'ashes'. Eileen and Sean are puzzled when Paul takes up running in a bid to get into shape. Fiz worries as the gossip starts about Tyrone's forthcoming trial.

Katy and Ryan are kissing but spring apart when Dev walks in. Flustered, Katy tells him she's quitting her job because Chesney objects. Fiz points out to Chesney that he should be supporting Katy's work. Will he have a change of heart and unwittingly push Katy back into Ryan's arms?

Karl hangs back at closing time, pleading with Stella for another chance. But when she insists it's over, Karl refuses to take no for an answer! Lloyd tries to grovel his way back into Mandy's favour.

Gloria refuses to fork out for a funeral for Eric. Eva's horrified, branding her a gold-digger, but Gloria later admits to Stella she doesn't know what to do with her life now Eric's gone. Paul's mortified to discover that Sean has invited the factory girls to watch him do his Full Monty charity strip.

I am quite disappointed to read this. I think Timothy West looks and sounds very much like Roy Cropper so i hoped he would turn out to be his long lost father.

Eric met someone on holiday, came to the street with them, and by coincidence his long lost relative lived in the next street?

Fiz and Tina track down Kirsty's mum Alison, who is shocked to hear Tyrone is in prison. But will she believe her daughter is capable of domestic violence? Tim tells Faye he's too busy to attend her school play, so Owen has a quiet word with him, and Eileen is not happy when Paul lets slip that the Full Monty organiser Toni is a woman.
